I refuse to let my family use them again. I’d rather go up the street to Thompson. Staff is extremely rude, they give you the run around, unexpected costs come up. They held my grandmother for over a month because they couldn’t get to her. At the service, one of the staff members had the nerve to rush my sister as she was standing at the casket. Do not use them, please do some research. I know many African Americans want to support black owned places but there are others.

My father passed away the day before Thanksgiving. The place he was at wanted a lot more money and I couldn’t afford there price. So I called this place. And spoke to Juntina (spelling might be wrong). I told her what was going on and that I was out of state and couldn’t afford to drive to CA. She said she understood, and that she could email me what ever I needed to sign etc. well she kept saying she was going to call me by the end of the day, which she never did. So I would call back the next day, she would place me on hold quite a few times during my call. Then she would tell me that the other funeral home was very rude to her and was pushing to move my father. She would tell me one thing and the other place told me something different. Talk about frustrating, then she would tell me that she needed to see what release she needed from Jackson county. The other place emailed her the release 5 days ago, you talk about an uncaring, unsympathetic funeral home. Morgan Jones is your place. Stay away from this place they will give you the run around. Since they didnt care enough, I went somewhere else. And guess what they took care of everything they sent me all the documents I needed to sign and got there payment they needed. My father is being picked up tomorrow. Affordable cremations is a wonderful place with caring people. Unlike Morgan Jones, again stay away from this place they are a joke, unprofessional, lying place.

Morgan Jones is a very well known funeral home around the greater Sacramento area they have been providing nothing but great and professional services to all families including mines since the 80’s. I highly recommend them for there love and care for families in there time of need they are there for you even after it’s all over thank you Morgan Jones staff for all you do.
