After the sudden passing of my little nephew, I had to find a cremation place in Sacramento. You never really think of these things but I called many places and did not feel good about them touching a loved one. I finally called East Lawn. The director Andrea was very kind, empathetic and respectful. They know how traumatic loosing a child is and are even kind enough to give a huge discount. When people are kind at times like this it means so much. Thank you Andrea <3

To Who It may Concern; While visiting my parents at East Lawn I met Larry (Lorenzo) and we Started a conversation, yup you guessed It , about headstones, plots, Plaques, and funerals, what else would one talk about standing in the Middle of a cemetery, In any case I mentioned and pointed out that my Parents, plaque and plot would hold water during the winter months, and When watering, he assured me that It would be taken care of, two days Later while visiting , yes the plaque was raised and the plot re sodded ! Thank you Larry for your professionalism and consideration, and if Larry Is a reflection of his collegians and administration , Its a no wonder that East Lawn is the award winner of "American Cemetery of the Year" (East Lawn Sacramento Thank You, Alfred Guajardo)

The staff and services of East Lawn are exceptional. When my father passed away suddenly, their staff went above and beyond to take care of our needs and make sure my father had a beautiful service. In a time that was so painful and difficult, they made sure that the process of preparing my dad's funeral was as stress-free as possible. East Lawn is also a beautiful cemetary with a wonderful chapel. We were able to have my dad's visitation and memorial service in the chapel, followed by his interment in the mausoleum next-door. East Lawn also provides other ways to remember loved ones such as their annual tree lighting with a slideshow of those that have recently passed and an ornament for families to place on the tree. In short, I'm grateful for the kind services my family received at East Lawn.

Go to his obituary page on East Lawns webpage and click "Attend Service online" Please note that the link is not usually available until the day of the service. Hope this helps!
Lots more deaths in recent years, and the companies that makes those plates are really backed up. I know my parents' plates didn't get put up for almost six months, and they were ordered in late July 2021. (Completely different cemetery, too.)
You can call them and ask. I was there yesterday and there were people working.
Direct the question directly to East Lawn Memorial .

Thank you for answering this question, Ms. Limcaco. The date is actually February 1st as per the signs around the park and Information Sheets available in our lobbies.
There are designated parking spaces in front of the main mausoleum building as well as on the East side of the building. Extensive roadways allow for overflow parking as needed. Tents are provided for graveside services, providing some protection from the elements for immediate family members and numerous guests.
Heading west on business 80: exit J street, continue straight on 29th, left on Capitol Ave. Capitol turns into Folsom Blvd. Just passed 42nd on the right is the cemetery.
