Amazing! My fiancee and I both had Carole alter our dresses, and she was a rock star. My dress ended up being a bit more work than expected, but Carole knew exactly what to do. There were so many layers of lace etc. to hem, and the hem off the rack was really uneven. The top layer of lace was very intricate, and she was able to save it even with the alterations. Carole was able to take my fiancee's dress in by a whole size, and it fit like a glove. She is a seamstress wizard, and truly the best of the best.

Carole is amazing! I purchased my dress from a large store (on sale...no returns!) before quickly realizing that it was far too big and rather complex with lots of layers, lace, etc. Luckily for us, Carole was able to work her magic! When she was done with it, it truly felt like a custom dress, and I absolutely love it. She also made a beautiful custom veil, which was just what the dress needed. Carole is pure genius!!! Do yourself a favor and use her for any tailoring you have. I came in with my wedding dress and knew from the start that there is no one that could do what she did! I am an older bride and was worried about how I would look in a dress that is meant for a younger woman. She transformed my dress to me and I feel so beautiful!! I can't thank you enough Carole. I am attaching photos of the original dress as seen on designer website and after Carole did her magic! The dress is more beautiful now!

Yes, she can add a short sleeve. If the gown has an armhole ( like a tank style) it can be done. CKD is very creative and knowledgeable. If no armhole exits (a strapless gown), there are ways to do this but it does change the design. Depending on what needs doing the cost might run somewhere between 275.00 and 525.00. The business offers complimentary 15 minute appts for firm estimates.
Yes! Please be mindful of timing as custom gowns take time to make. 3 months minimum is recommended. Wedding gowns 6 months minimum is preferred.
We offer master alteration/repair on any type gown.
