Ferry Building Farmer's Market is my ritual. Every Saturday morning when I lived in the city, I would find my way down to the Ferry Building. Even if it meant a 15 minute stroll through to taste the samplers, I just had to be there. I've been the the Farmer's Market so many times that I pretty much have the location of all the vendors pretty much memorized.

It's relatively small farmer's market but has very unique produce. Melons, peppers and most vegetables are very different feom other farmer's market in bay area. The bakery is also amazing. It makes a perfect sunday morning just walking and shopping around and the vendors are extremely nice. Not a big fan of the meat provider though. Overpriced not so good qualuty meat.

Love this farmer's market. Not too crowded these days, great fresh, seasonal produce. Sometimes pricey but mostly reasonable. We got some super sweet strawberries one week, then not sweet at all ones the following week. There's also a couple baked goods stands and flowers 💐

No. Not that I saw when I went.
Unfortunately, California Health & Safety Code 114259.5 states that live animals are not allowed in any California certified farmers markets or associated food facilities. It is illegal to bring dogs (aside from service animals), into any farmers' market. As dog lovers and owners ourselves, we sympathize with the desire to bring your dog to market. However, to comply with the law to the best of our ability we ask that you please make plans to leave your animal at home or at a safe place outside of the market. Thank you for your understanding and support of your local farmers' and food vendors!
