Always stay here in Redding but the rooms are showing age. Room was on the sunny side in July. AC is noisy and would not cool the room to less than 76 until 4am.

First of all this place is kind of oddly located in a primarily industrial area. There is a deli across the street but no other dining choices. The hotel itself was clean and modern. The check-in was easy and the front desk person was helpful. Our king suite was on the small side and the furniture was pretty uncomfortable. Decent place but there are better choices nearby.

Strong odor of urine in bathroom. Front desk very responsive to issue. This is my go to stopover in Redding. Service exceptional and they accommodate my preferred room choice.

We made a quick stop here on our impromptu road trip back home. We expected just to sleep a couple hours and get back on the road. Unfortunately, the first room we were given had been made up (i.e., the beds were made) but still had a ton of animal (or human?) filth in the sheets. We ended up with a different room that was clean, but the whole exchange cost us (including kids) an hour of sleep. The breakfast options in the morning were above average with good options; eggs, sausage, toast, waffles, cereal, fruit, juice, etc.
