Went on a Wednesday afternoon and it wasn’t busy! Love that the animals can get really close! My only complaint is there was construction happening at the same time To prepare for the lantern festival and so a few exhibits were closed. The kids had a great time! If you’re going with more than 1 child, I recommend renting a double stroller for only $7! Also used a voucher I got from my local library for discounted entrance fees.

We visit both zoos frequently, so getting an annual family membership saves us a lot of money. The zoo wasn't crowded at all, and we almost never had to wait or stand in a line to see any animals. The Gorilla's were in their outdoor enclosure, and you literally got to sit right next to them with just safety glass in-between. The newest baby is ADORABLE!

It's best to go early in the morning or late in the day. Midday the animals are sleeping because they've all just eaten. So we saw a low of the animals laying down. Quite a number of exhibits were closed. But the bird were all there! The kiwi exhibit is awesome but it's a quiet area so it's recommended that boisterous children and adults are to avoid going. Also if you have bad vision the kiwi exhibit is a nocturnal one so it's flooded with a red-light. The rest of the tropical birds in the bird enclosure are awesome and free flying. The giraffes were awesome they have a baby giraffe currently it's adorable!

Nice little zoo in the heart of Boston. As you can see i liked the giraffes! The Nature's Neighborhoods area is a fun place for kids to learn about various habitats. They can climb up into a big n'est. See farm animals at the farm. I was disappointed because the butterfly exhibit was closed for some reason. And the gorillas have a new habitat but they were not out because they are getting used to their new home. Nice place for a stroll on a weekday afternoon. I didn't put a price because my family has a membership, which i recommend if you plan to go more than once a year. The membership is also good for the Stone Zoo.

Every single day of the week, IF YOU HAVE A SNAP/EBT CARD -W/YOUR NAME ON IT- it's $3.00- CASH, per person, regardless if children or adults. ALTHOUGH THIS IS FOR ADMISSION TO THE ZOO ITSELF ONLY!!! ADMISSION ONLY & ALSO IT'S ONLY GOOD FOR UP TO FOUR PEOPLE AS WELL. EVERYONE ELSE IN YOUR PARTY WILL BE PAYING FULL PRICE! ALSO, I'D DEFINITELY BRING SOME MORE CASH ANYWAYS. Because, again, this works ONLY FOR ADMISSION, AND ONLY FOR UP TO FOUR PEOPLE. Everything else, including stroller rentals, food, entry into certain exhibits, and anything else that does not include admission, you will NEED CASH TO PAY FOR. As I read over the different answers to this question, I couldn't help but to think how very important it was for me to stress the fact that this is strictly for admission only, and also strictly for only up to 4 people only. Everyone else in your party, including children and adults, will have to pay full price once you've gone over the 4-person limit. IMPORTANT!
Yes and it is 3 extra dollars per ride per person. So if you wanted to ride both for both you and your child it would be $12
Its $2 and u dont need the ID just the food stamps. Dont believe what these people say....i go to the zoo all the time with my food stamps just have to pay $2 for a person
They can scan the barcode in your phone. They do it very fast!
Yes you can and your own stroller.
Adults are $21.96, seniors $19.95, children 2-12 $14.95 and free for 2 and under. If you go often like me I suggest you buy a yearly membership its well worth it! Hope this was helpful

They do not check the belongings
Yes there are. They have quite a few of them. Fat ones, skinny ones, babies.... They're pretty awesome animals.

I smoked off to the side in random areas an no one ever told me i couldn't. Depends on the type of person u are I guess lol
It'll be extremely hot and the animals will want to be quiet in the shade somewhere. I'd wait until a better day.

No, you are not allowed to bring pets to the zoo. The website clearly stated that policy. Pets are not allowed on Zoo grounds to protect the health and safety of our animals and your pets. Fully trained service dogs trained to perform specific tasks are allowed. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person's disability. Please don’t leave your pets in your parked vehicle while visiting the Zoo.
When purchasing your tickets online you can surely check that. Make sure you check the schedule because it tends to be filled up quickly.
Their website says that you can not exchange times. I'm sure you could just buy one for the 3 year old for the same time though.
The break on the price, policy wise, is for the vet & one other individual (assistant, spouse, child). To get clarification on a larger group, you'd have to get prior consent from the people in the admissions office. Hope this helps - one disabled vet to another
I'm not to sure. Would be best to contact the zoo and check to see their hours since I'm sure they have changed which may make the prices change
I'm not Shure!!!
Good morning, remember I paid around 20 USD for adult but I recommend you to check their official website in advance. :)
No I don't believe you can take dogs in the zoo only the park

You can get discounted tickets through the Boston Public Library, all branches. Look for Museum Passes. There pass admits 6 people at $9/adult and $6/child.
Check the website too. Always a helpful resource
There's a lot of sun but there are a lot of trees you can hide under and there are cooling stations that spray a light mist.

I think it's $15 for adults. Not sure how much for children
Actually, EBT cardholders receive admission for $4 per person, for up to four people at both Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo. Simply present your card at the Admissions booth to receive this discounted rate.
If you buy tickets online you get a discount and save time by not queuing. What is WIC?
If you get a membership, you can visit both Franklin and Stone zoos as many times as you like for an entire year for the price of going to Franklin twice.
Yes - sheep, goats, ponies, and more I can't remember
Talking about the food stamp card. If you have one and you show it upon entry you get a discount. We paid 3 dollars each.
Go to web site. All the admission prices and discounts are listed.
When I was much younger the Franklin Park zoo had elephants, bears and many other healthy animals. The best part of all it was free.
Easiest way to get the correct answer is to call them but I believe it's for mass ebt card holder and u gotta have ur ID with u
Franklin Park has a big parking lot it is free parking to the public as far as I know
Well, I'm not very sure because I went with the ebt card (coupons) and only paid $ 3 for each one.

It's $ 20 per adult and $ 14 per child
Speaking with a staff member, getting a job at the zoo is very competitive. There are lots of the people who would like to work with the animals.
Not many animal's out at this time it's better to come in spring or summer . I think you can use your EBT card , but call first . It is a hidden gem and worth the trip .
True
Not sure, but I would call to check. Sorry!
You can not medal decact there it can hurt the animals
No, he was transferred to stoneham zoo, I'm not sure if he is stille there
If you have an EBT card you can get in either free or with a deep discount. You can go to your local library for passes I think, too.
There are still plenty of animals to see and it's a lot less crowded! I love going off season or on rainy days.
hey.... There is no direct train access to Franklin Park. The closest T stop is Forest Hills on the Orange line. I believe there is a bus from forest hills that takes you to Franklin entrance. You can walk from forest hills...itll take roughly 20 minutes.
Yes. Holiday Hours
