There's a lot of sun but there are a lot of trees you can hide under and there are cooling stations that spray a light mist.
I have a condition which limits my ability to go in the sun for long periodsI was able to go to the zoo I had to wear long-sleeve shirt and had sunbrella and lots of sunscreen but lots of shade trees if you take your time
Lots of both, including many indoor activities as well. There are misting/cooling stations, outdoor seating for eating that has shades, and the inside of the food area is air conditioned. Several exhibits are fully shaded, such as the butterfly garden.
Both. Plenty of both!
Depending on what part of the park that you are at there is a lot of 🌞, but you can find shade under 🌲 or inside the exhibit's
Most of the walking areas are sunny. Most of the picnic areas are shady. Very, very nice zoo though.
