Great rail trail, well maintained and easy to ride with the whole family. From Belchertown to Northampton it's about 10 miles. Highly recommend.

Nice trail for walking or biking. Fairly busy on the weekends. Relatively flat and pretty shady from Belchertown to Hadley.

It connects to a few other trails. Its easily a 2 hour ride one way. About 18 to 23 miles depending on if you take the Easthampton trail that branches off near the abandoned building.
