Gate 8. Fishing area one. You drive down a dirt road. Park car I think 6 dollars. Water is right there. They are not renting boats this year but you can fish the shore. I would wait until September honestly. The water is too hot now I think for shore

Zach I was at the fishing area one yesterday afternoon. They told me I could not use my own kayak. I'm not sure if they had kayaks to rent but they had nice power boats for $40 a day $20 for seniors 62 or older.
6:30 now, it changes during the season earlier in the summer it's 7:30
They have quite a few rental boats there I don't think you would have a problem getting one during the week
