Left disappointed. Food is very plain, not much flavor. Order the chips, they are not free (hey, it’s Disney), they probably were the best part… along with being a nice cool spot on a hot Florida afternoon! I had the Tacos De Ribeye which were emphatically recommended by the hostess who seated us. I could taste the corn tortillas but nothing else. My bar must be much higher than her’s.

A unique experience eating in this restaurant

Riquísimo, authentic Mexican food, is at Epcot.

La Cantina de San Angel does not require a reservation, it is a Quick Service (Fast Food type). La Hacienda de San Angel is a restaurant and that does require a reservation. They are both at Epcot in the World Showcase.
You can usually use the Disney parks app or go online and do it.
You do need a reservation also the food is not your traditional Mexican it has more of a South American twist to it. Nice ambiance and great service.
I believe there is a $10 surcharge per guest if you don't cancel by 11pm the night before your reservation.
Bar is to-go only. You can be seated at a table based off a walk up list
Funny, I received a notification about this question, I actually work at San Angel Inn. You can make a reservation 6 months ahead of time if you are stay in Disney property or 2 months if you are not, by using the app. Take in mind you have to do it exactly 60 days before you come in, to be able to see availability. Or make a reservation the same day for cancellations on the Disney App. We normally take walk in before 11:30am. We honor your reservation if late. Hope this helps a lot!
You have to have a ticket for Epcot to get inside to San Angel Inn. You can add a hopper to your AK day and hop to Epcot starting at 1 pm
Yes, and reservations are necessary!
Yes
Have to either check with Disney app or call 407-wdw-dine
If illumination is perfect
So are the flavors FRESH? And not out of a can or frozen
Yes you need to have valid park tickets.
If there are people buying food and need to sit, it would be rude to do that. They DO sell food until the park is closed and seating in that area is already hard to find at any given time. I would not do that. Illuminations can be seen from anywhere in the park. They will block off the section only for people buying food before and during that time. The park does not always close at that time as they can have random extended hours or magic hours.
