Updated 2022: I tried this place again because it was rec by the Michelin guide. It's even WORSE than before! The tortillas tasted store bought, cold and rubbery. The shrimp and chorizo taco had only one shrimp and chorizo that tasted like a salt lick! There was barely any fish in the fish tacos and way too much pickled vegetable. Underwhelming, overpriced, and not a real taqueria. There are real taquerias all over Orlando. Go to taqueria Ameca, Tortilleria El Progresso, or drive to Tacos la rienda in Apopka. They are all light years better and less expensive.

Genuinely amazing experience at Black Rooster today. They managed to actively get a 9 top table set up with food within minutes, and were extremely attentive to dietary restrictions. They even went so far as to ensure that they modified an order of plantains without having to be asked as to avoid dairy cross contamination for a major allergy. Thank you for an incredible meal and your wonderful attentiveness to detail. If I could give you more stars I would!

I was excited to try the food due to reviews that I read. Place had a great vibe and the service was great! Staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Place was clean. The food I ordered was not great by any means. I ordered the brisket taco and it didn't come close to tasting like brisket. The texture and flavor were more like beef sitting in broth. The Carne asada had a little bit of flavor to it. The chips and queso didn't have much flavor either. The tacos are street tacos so there smaller than I normal sized taco. All in all I spent close to 40$ with tip for my mom and I and we left wondering why that wasn't as good the reviews said.

Delicious food and fun atmosphere! The guacamole was chunky (which I love) and the shrimp and chorizo taco was so good!

Not sure, but I've ordered through Ubereats from here about 20 times since last March and I've never gotten COVID :)
It's not an ideal place for large groups trying to have a lot of conversation. There are a few larger tables, but it stays pretty crowded with a tight space. It's more of a quick spot to eat than a place to hang out. Still, the food is great.
Not 100% sure but they do taste like true corn tortillas. And again confirming that they do make they in house.
