Nobody has answered this question and its something a lot of women who really need places to go and don't have the resources why hasn't anyone answered this important question I'm one of these women myself.

Your given a lock to put on your locker, just keep to yourself and try not to bring in so much stuff with you.also never leave your belongings unattended, make sure your locker is locked at all times and your phone is with you

You need to go to intake first in Williams Street and all you need but nit necessary if you don't have it is your ID after that they will send you fir 2day or 3 to the Jardin for quarantine then from there they will bring you back and place you to your needs in a permanent shelter if your a victim of domestic violence and or are disabled they will place you to your needs but if something is not a right fit for you speak out to case managers and staff they will try to do so Good luck and God bless you inwill be praying for you

Go to the Bronx on Franklyn ave it's called Franklyn womens shelter. It's open 24/7 you have to go through there it's an assessment shelter. They will help u with everything. 1122 Franklyn ave Bronx ny. They will help u keep your daughter out of foster care and u will have a place to sleep shower eat keep whatever property u have

No it's dormitory setting and it's an mica shelter, for couples you do get an hotel room for couples . The intake for couples is 30TH Street Bellevue Mens Shelter
As a Peace Officer who works there, based on the information from the other clients, it all depends on who you get once you get an intake and who they assign you to... There are some who will go the distance with you (if you're willing to do the work as well) and you have those, and let's be honest, only there for a paycheck, have very little time to meet with clients, and would ask the direct care staff for info. #Sad😞☹️ If you want to take a chance and go into that shelter, it's your choice, but you have to get intake at another women's shelter before you get assigned to Tillary Women's Shelter.. Check out WIN (Women In Need) they might assist you better, or refer you else where.. Good Luck!
