Nobody has answered this question and its something a lot of women who really need places to go and don't have the resources why hasn't anyone answered this important question I'm one of these women myself.
@ Margaret Caban no their not allowed to give out anyones information for safety reasons. Also if anyone needs to go into a shelter all you need is id and yourself walk in and they'll talk yada yada interview you and place you into the shelter and give you a bed. See i went to franklins womens shelter in the bronx when i walked in it was quick i didnt expect to have a bed within 15 minites of me being there.
If someone calls asking if someone is a resident there will that information be given?
Tillary Women's shelter 200 Tillary St Brooklyn, N.Y 11201 I dont have their # but they have a website and I believe you can just walk in or 260 williams st Brooklyn . none open in the Bronx right now or Manhattan... Tillary would be my last choice unless you need an elevator williams shelter has stairs...
