The tour ot the Enterprize set was very great & the background stories were very interesting & entertaining. The set was built to perfection with many of the original props were used. Will definitely be going back !!

Great experience. Meticulous attention to detail. Educated and fun guides. Check their calendar for special guests and events!

If you're a Trekkie, THIS IS YOUR PLACE! It's ever- expanding, but totally worth the trip, time, and money - which isn't much compared to all they have built and amassed. Our tour guide was awesome too!

Loved the recreated sets from the original tv series, original set props and episode costumes. Fascinating facts from guide during the VIP tour. Will return next year when William Shatner shows up and also when they add the set for Star Trek Next Generation.

It is a permanent place. They had also mentioned the possibility of adding other star trek sets, in the future.
It is an hour long guided tour of 13000 square feet of the recreated sets of the Starship Enterprise! We do have a gift shop along with display cases with props and costumes! www.startrektour.com for more information
There is a Walmart nearby with a closed Lowes store nextdoor. Plenty of room for you to park. Very ,very small town. I would call them and ask for advice. Guy there named Drew gives tours and was super knowledgeable. Saw owner too. It's super cool and well worth it!!!
The owner lives in the area and rent is affordable. The stars of the show go there even Shatner. Heard they have plans to expand for some 2nd Gen Star Trek in the future.
Not likely. There isn't enough room for something like that.
It's definitely worth it if you want pics that don't include other people. The VIP tour we took was just us and the photographer. He explained all kinds of different things and let us sit in places and touch things we couldn't when we took the regular tour. We came in costume for the VIP tour which made our pics even more special. Yes, you can take pics with your own camera on the regular tour. People who worked there were able to answer questions, but they didn't talk much unless you asked. It was pricey but well worth it for us.
Yes you should be notified if not just email or call them
Not exactly sure, but the Star Trek museum is about 40 minutes North of Lake George. You would have to get to Saratoga first. Then another hour plus to the museum.
According to their website, it's $22.50 for adults (14-54), and $20 for seniors. Ages 5-13 is $11. Under 5 is free. Veterans $20.
Yes! If lot in front Tour is full there is a Municipal Lot behind the buildings aceross the street - about a 150-200 yard walk. Star Trek Tour
If you're planning a trip to the set tour, a call can reserve you a convenient time for the tour based on your travel schedule. You can also ask what times have fewer people taking the tour so that you have a more intimate experience. The set tour will host special events which can affect wait times and availability. It's a great idea to call ahead.
As long as the they aren't hosting a Star Trek cast member or something similar when you visit, you should have no problem changing.
Summer hours are 10 to 6 with the last tour starting at 5 pm. They are closed Mondays. In the spring and fall when things are slow, they are open weekends only so call ahead. They are closed in the winter.
