My Family and I had a wonderful time camping here at Brookwood! It was a first time tent camping with the kids and not only did they have a great time there on the very well kept grounds, but they loved the treasure hunt, the pool, the large chess set, connect 4 and much more! Mark and Buffie were kind from start to finish and Mark even spent about 45 minutes showing us around the Adirondack style cabins(which were all beautiful) in case we were ever interested in staying in one. He was welcoming, checking in on us multiple times throughout our time there and being friendly with our kids who often explored the campsite. Thanks again to Mark and Buffie! I would recommend this site to young families or older couples looking for peace and quiet while also having a well kept campground!

Went for a wedding so prepaid 1 year in advance. I didn’t want to pay extra just to lock in a site so I figured with one year notice I would be able to stay in the same area as my children. Maybe not the next site but at least close. Upon check in some employee who wouldn’t even listen to us talk showed us to a site as far from the wedding party as you could get. I had to finely stop him from arguing with us to explain that I wasn’t parking my camper until I knew why we were at opposite ends from the wedding party. He said “that’s what happens when you don’t pay to lock in a site”. So they did it on purpose. This same employee was a total jerk to the wedding party upon checkin. The sites were super small with only a few feet between each camper. There were more rules then any other place I have ever been. Will never go back! After reading the reviews for this place apparently this employee has something to say at the end of each review to defend there actions! Treating guests badly even when they leave. Almost forgot last year when I made the reservation the woman on the phone was so rude so I wasn’t surprised to find this guy the same way.

Tried to get a last minute campsite on Sunday Labor Day Weekend. I asked just 3 questions and the lady just hung up on me. Poor phone service.

So disappointing. Our site was nothing like the pictures. We were sandwiched between 2 other RVs In an open lot by the road. We barely had enough room to open our slides. When we complained about there being no wifi (and cell service was almost non-existent), we were told they never "guaranteed" wifi. And we sure as heck would not have paid $8/night for cable had we known we could get 25 channels for free (we were told that after we paid). We were booked for 3 nights and didn't even stay an hour.
