Fort Ticonderoga is a wonderful place to visit with the family there is a cafe/ restaurant and a guided tour through the museum and you can self guide as well. Rich in history and incredible pieces on display and lots were found on the po grounds of the Fort. You can also go to the corn maze from Aug to Oct and Kings gardens. The Fort is located in Lake Champlain, NY. In the town of Ticonderoga.

Okay for dogs outside of the buildings according to their website
Yes,they go rain or shine, well worth it
I did not see them make butter but they did cook some food from thise days and it was very interesting to talk to them about what they use, etc. Ive only been thete once but id imagine they kerp changing what they cook or prepare so it might be worth it to reach out and ask them about butter.
Yes, but I believe only on specific days so you would have to check their calendar
They did have a couple of wheel chairs but they are first come first serve.
You should be fine as long as there are no special events.
So you're listed as a local guide. You're making a joke that there's no way? It says if you can dock you could make it there 15 minutes by car. Why aren't there any taxis?I grew up going to Lake George and Ticonderoga so I'm a little offended by your response.
Yes, I believe so. Also the boat that's on the property of the Shelburne Museum is named the Ticonderoga
Well it's a reconstructed fort from the 1700's so...
not sure, they do have a boat dock but I think I it's for their own use, I would call them directly to find out.
Larger ones on the 8th, 20th, lots of good stuff on the 4th though.

Nicely restored. Beautiful stonework, wood floors all in keeping with 18th century fortification construction. Museum areas are accessible and brightly lit.
Don't let handcapped access stop you from visiting. There are awesome views, some ramps and an elevator. Trails and gardens are stone and brick. There is a boat ride but I suggest you call ahead to be sure.
Excellent. 👍
Thank you all. Sarasota Springs turns out to be a better choice this time of year.
There were several battles. The French had rhe fort, then the Britist, finally us. Which battle are you asking about May10 1775 was when Ethen Allen and his Green Mt. Boys took it from the British
