Pretty fun trip. We did the full day trip but it only took 3/4 hours to complete. The water is crystal clear until you get a couple miles down river and the board with gas engines start appearing

yes, there is a nice sloped entry next to the paddling adventures tiki hut. You will have to pay them the cost of a state park entry and a small fee to launch your boat.
