Positive: We had the most beautiful room overlooking Lake Superior on the top floor. Such a phenomenal way to celebrate our wedding anniversary!! Customer service was top notch! The dining experience was exceptional as well. Can't wait to go back! Negative: We loved everything! I wish I knew the name of the young lady who checked us in, because she was the one who really made the trip special for us!!!!

Front desk staff was not very helpful during check. One of the issues we had - we requested to pay In cash, they told us to pay after staying, yet the hotel kept trying to charge our credit card (luckily we froze it). We were also told a $15 fee would be refunded, but it never was. The pool is located at the center of the hotel, with the rooms around it. During our stay, some team was staying at the hotel and was very loud from early hours to late at night. Our suite was down the hall a bit and we still couldn't get any sleep. The A.C and heat is set to only operate from 66° to 74°, and there are no windows in the room that open. With the pool and hottub being at the center of the hotel, it made for a hot & humid stay. Having 50+ people in the pool at once, clearly exceeding occupancy limit, probably didn't help. The shuttle driver was very polite and helpful - unlike the check in staff (a younger gentleman). Having a T.V in both rooms of the Suite was nice. Great, central, location; connected to the Duluth Skywalk. Overall, at $660 for (2) nights (1 suite), we did not find this hotel to be worth the cost. Maybe if the louder guests were told to disperse, things would have been different. Not recommended. 2/5 🌟

I was a little nervous staying here because I remembered this place from back in the late 90s. Let's just say it has improved it's overall look and reputation immensely. I felt safe, and the beds were so comfy that I took a picture of the mattress brand to research later. The entire place was sparkling clean. Shout out to the robot zipping up and down the hallways. He does a fabulous job!

The staff is super friendly, loved the hot tub and pool, room was beautiful and clean, bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay, wish it had been longer. We will definitely be back. Looking forward to trying the restaurant lyric and checking out some night life in the area. Did not like the parking garage was very narrow and small but overall a great experience.
