Very nice place you can get lost in there
Rebecca Diem
The pharmacy is awful. Don’t rely on them to correctly fill or refill anything in a timely manner. Do yourself a favor and have them transfer it to a local pharmacy that way you don’t go days without your medication.

Great place to work, welcome home
Irish German
Just when I thought this place was going to turn itself around...... If you want to have a decent hospital, have The Wounded Warriors run your complaint dept. The people you hire hate veterans and it shows.

What I should to enroll in the program?
Yes you will be able to park your RV if you get there early enough before the parking spaces start filling up.
Sure, see first if you have a record in that hospital. You are a veteran, it is known if you had not asked: 214, identification. Just that and they will give you an ID with your name and photo, that identification will open all doors 🚪 😉 in all VA Hospitals. For UFO services found at some international airports, ask the airline. With the VA ID, everything is free.
Hi Mike. I'll use myself as an example . In order to walk into the Lk.Nona clinic since my primary team is at Lk Baldwin I would have to check in at the clinic M-F 0800-1700 . The clinic is actually The ER which is 24/7. If you have been assigned to a team you must first go and check in at your team as a walk in and wait until you are called upon. Unless it's a real emergency.
Yes, you must provide a copy of your DD-214 to enrollment and they will set everything up and assign you a PCP. In my case, all my previous consults through Tampa did not roll over and I had to see my PCP to get reestablished with dermatology and mental health clinics. Hope this helps.
After driving through the security check point turn left and follow it around towards the back of the hospital.
Yes there is, I believe there is a Court Yard, Marriott, the Wave Hotels and few others
Just send them
Hi!, go to your doctor or call your doctor office.
To gather the best info contact the VA administration. Besides that, I'll suggest contacting your congressional rep. They now handle these matters.
3mo for primary care appt who can refer you to NY specialist. Mental health you can walk in immediately as needed
Yes. I used to go to PT there. It's a great facility
Lake Nona is main. Some clinics still at lake Baldwin
Sure any one is welcome you only need to present your id at security and let them know which way your heading.
I've heard of detox remedies for high blood pressure. I don't know about the effectiveness. You should probably discuss it with your primary care physician to determine which ones, if any, are right for you. You're probabably taking bp medication. Talk to your doctor!!
There is a mental health facility. I believe it's on the third floor
The vacation village in Kissimmee is 40 min away from the VA hospital.
Yes just go sign in at patient advocate. You might have to wait for awhile.
It cost 665 million dollars.
Yes, there's a cafeteria on the east side. Pretty good..
Just call the main number, they will direct you to the right place.
I would doubt it.
Ve al counter del frente cuando entras y alli te informan
There is a cafeteria on the first floor and they have a wide selection of foods at fair prices. The cafeteria is open from around 7am until the early afternoon and closed on weekends. The lunch options include pizza, grilled items, sushi, ramen, salads, and other dishes that rotate daily. The pancakes in the morning are huge and so tasty.
Lab is only available for emergency room on weekends.
I don't know for sure, but this is a center, a major health center. This is where you go when you need major surgery done.
1st floor/room 1c
Yes through voluntary service office
Not sure, but I am sure they do. You can call them & ask. They're very helpful.
It's open!

I dont believe so, but you can ask. Dependents (including apousea) may be able to get Tricare or other insurance. Go to tricare.mil or Google tricare to find eligibility.
Yes
No
Go to Enrollment, bring your DD214 ,they will help you.
Are you a veteran? if you are, I would suggest that you give them a call to determine the best option for you to take.
There is a 120 bed Community Living Center for veterans with multidisciplinary skills
Set hours
They would most likely splint the area and have you follow up with an orthopedic.

Hi Josiane, Unfortunately as of last year they didn't but check in at the office at Lk.Nona VA because a lot has change during these past months. Good luck .
Yes, contact your social work or mental health to be referred.
Reg Working HRS.
I think so but why don't you ask for a different test? Call the clinic as soon as possible and good luck veteran. 🇺🇸
Don't know 500.000 dollars
Yes sir, and you should make arrangements before your scheduled appointments or meetings. You have the options of contacting the shuttle services or transportation pick up at a designated location or contact telecare or telephone triage. Also the volunteers help desk by the main elevators on the lower level by the west parking garage will be more than willing to assist you sir. Have a blessed day veteran. 🇺🇸
I AGREE With Perez ; Try My Health E Vet On line And open A Account And Use Secured Massaging.
Depends on your % of service disability and what kind of insurance you have. Yes some procedures do have co-pays. This is just my experience you can call the billing department and get more knowledgeable answers.
Hello Sharon, The Lk. Nona facility has a large compliment of beds in there inventory. If you are worried about a full capacity before you are admitted, you need not fear as the choice program will accommodate you if that situation ever presents itself. I know because I am one who has experience that inconvenience and through the choice program I had a successful major reconstruction operation done at a private hospital without any delays . You are in good hands at Lk. Nona veteran. God bless.
Any Gov ID , Go To Lake Nona VA Hospital First Floor , Next To The. 6 Elevators , Park In Any Parking Garage If U Get lost Ask For The Enrollment Office ; At The Main Gate Its 100% Id Check If u Don't Have A Va ID Show The Security Gard ure DD 214 And Tell Him ur There To Enroll So He Can Let U In.
Hi Mr. Campos!, if you need some inf. about doctors call to the VA directly.
Mr. Campos all you need to do is contact telecare or triage at Lk. Nona VA or Lk. Baldwin VA, If you live in the Winter Park Altamonte springs/Casselberry area.
If you are at the Lk Nona VA you can easily find out at the volunteers help desk at the main concourse by the elevators. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Good luck veteran and a blessed day to you. Thank you for your service. 🇺🇸
Hi!, Mrs. Chever Just call the VA Hospital ask for the benefits office and they can answer you questions.
No ambulance takes any veterans to any VA , They will only bring the vet to the nearest ER. I suggest have someone drive you to the VA, If it's an EMERGENCY don't worry ABOUT the cost at this time call 911 and SAVE YOUR LIFE.
Your question is not clear. Use devices while waiting for treatment? Yes! Everything else, you must inquiry directly at front desk or, at MH section
Yes there is. You just lock in your GPS to Orlando medical center. VA will reimburse your tolls. Exit 9.
Absolutely just make sure that you check in at enrollment. If you need help just ask a volunteer at the help desk. They can will help you. Guaranteed. They are located by the emergency clinic and at the middle of both east and west parking garages at the first floor entrance .
Use myheathevet first. Also depends what Dept you call. Sunday low staffing so calls slow. If need help go to emergency department, even if you don't think it's an emergency. They are well staffed, helpful and professional.
That question can be answered only at the enrollment dept. They must assign you a primary doctor and nessessary documents. Unless you're enrolled the this hospital they will treat you as a traveling vet. Treatment will only be provided through the ER
Call the patient outreach number
Indeed you may, however and as with everything else, you'll need clearance with security. Ppl may be allergic to it, and best be safe.
Thanks to all of the responses, greatly appreciated the information
Yes!, Lake Nona VA have a gym, but I'm think is only for employees.
Did spell check change a word to 'interim?' Don't know what an interim clinic is. I know they have a great women's clinic.
Absolutely
I'm not familiar with the Liberty Clinic. I only use the center for testing and any results are sent to my Doctor at the Clermont VA Clinic. However, I do know each medical team has a name and each Vet that is treated there is assigned a team by name.
You might have to check in with enrollment, prior to get any assistance.
I was there for 1st time last night, & am willing to go back. Only professional and caring people did we meet and deal with I wish it weren't so far. They are BY FAR MUCH BETTER then Any Hospital in my area. Hats off to them
Absolutely, and the Orlando VA is always looking for good people. Stop by human resources and apply. Good luck.
Although the Orlando VA at Lake Nona is a smoke free campus, you can smoke in designated smoking area which is located on 4A of either the West or East garages.
There are several ways to find out veteran. First is as you walk in through the garage you can use the information kiosk located by the elevators or the VA has these great big information monitors that you can feed them your questions and get a response back within seconds and they are located on every level next to the elevators. Or you can use the old fashioned method by just calling triage. Best wishes for the new year veteran.
Yes, they do have shuttle bus to and from the Lake Non hospital. There's a number that you'll need to call (I don't know it ), and they'll help you.
Same building - opposite sides. You can park in either garage. Relatively short walk from hospital to clinic.
You can go to your mapping software and tell it to avoid tolls and it should give you a route that is free.
Just do a walk-in let them know your issue and they will take it from there.
Yes but I highly recommend that you make plans in advance because the VA will not supply a roll away for the misses. You can bring in a air mattress which is what I highly recommend. Good luck veteran.
This VA Hospital is rated among the best in the nation so put your trust on them. So my answer is yes. I trust them with all my medical needs. Good luck veteran.
The VA has a rooms available for patients that are getting treatments for an extended period of time. Is called Hoptell. You might want to contact your primary care provider and ask for details on this. Or contact enrollment here at lake Nona.
This is a hospital for US Veterans only.
As a disabled veteran Tim, you are eligible for healthcare at all of Central Florida's great VA healthcare facilities. Being honorably discharged and without other forms of insurance also qualifies you for VA Health Care eligibility. I encourage you to get into Lake Nona or Lake Baldwin and talk to the enrollment personnel there.
Yes next to the starbucks
I have found that you get quicker service if you go through your local clinic. Your primary care physician has the ability to speed things up.
Doubtful
Yes to both questions.
Around the clock, just make sure that you have your VA card with you. Thank you for serving veteran. 🇺🇸
There is a wonderful volunteers program. Call the operator & ask for the Volunteer Program Coordinator.
Please contact telecare for the correct fax number as they have numerous accounts. Unfortunately I don't know.
If I'm not mistaken the pharmacy opens at 0800. Monday through Friday.
Yes. Schedule through your primary care physician.
Keep all your hospital bills because there will be a few depending if you had any xrays and how many doctors treated you. Now take all your bills and file them all at once at Lake Nona VA for reimbursement . This will save you a lot of time and paperwork. Good luck veteran and I hope you feel better soon.
Now
Yes it is as a matter of fact it is on the opposite side of the cafeteria next to the labs.
Check in as a walk in at emergency clinic located at the same entrance to the hospital at Lake Nona . Upon walking there's a piano a your right, keep walking a few feet and there's corridor on your left which is the entrance to the clinic. It is 24/7 Good luck veteran and I hope you find relief.
Yes they do and it is a state of the art facility. Lake Nona is setting the standard for others facilities to follow and in my opinion it is the most advanced VA facility in existence. I am blessed to have this in my state and very close to home.
If you're coming from Kissimmee use Boggy Creek rd or if you are in South Orlando by Curry Ford rd. or Colonial then come down 436 through the airport and exit out the backway of the airport towards Boggy Creek rd.
I do know of the shuttle services from Lk.Nona to Lk. Baldwin which is daily with several run a day. You should ask the VA clinic at Daytona
The Lake Nona facility is access controled, if you or the person with you has valid ID to enter the grounds, then yes the cafeteria is open to you
I recommend that you first call enrollment so that you get a straight answer without the run around.
Yes they do.
It's best to call and talk to your team nurse
Sorry only for veterans and their dependants.
If you can legally prove that the medicine caused you to loose your teeth then contact Morgan and Morgan law firm
You can either take the elevator or the stairs.
Yes indeed. The domiciliary as i understand it is not huge..good luck,..
Absolutely, check with your primary care first.
Go to the VA admin. at the Lake Nona and you can get a new one.
No that's the old one when the Naval Training base was still operational. The new one is in South Orlando by the 417 behind OIA
Yes I think it's only after every 4th visit.. call travel pay they can say for sure
It's easy just wait until you have cleared the parking garage and inside the hospital and turn on your Wi-Fi and follow the prompts.
Lok at goldenrod rd
Patient advocate
For education benefits it would be the VBA.
Call tellicare or your primary.
Yes
You can go to the VA facility and they have computer kiosk's available. If you need help with anything just go to any of the information stations and a volunteer can point you in the right direction. Hope this helps!,🇺🇸🇺🇸
I believe they are because Veterans day was observed Nov 10.
Hotels are within walking distance. You can see them from the VA entrance
There's a patriot store but if you're looking major appliances and supermarket items then you'll have to go to the west side of Orlando International Airport.
