Had good experiences with spay and neuter. For illness/injury visits this is not a good place to go. Unbelievably long waiting times for vaccine and doc visits. Took 2+ hours to get first 2 yr Leukemia vaccine. Then waited (2 and half hours) and never saw a veterinarian for sick kitty. Was told the wait could go on indefinitely. Went back another day and sat almost 2 hours (after arriving 45 minutes before they open). I was third in line and never saw a vet. Never mind that the kitten's eye was swelled and falling out. (Tried ER vet 3x and they were always full).

My aporoach would be the same as when I've taken in a stray - just start over as if they haven't had any care before.
PAL Clinic spays cats and dogs at 12 weeks of age. Kittens start breeding at 16 weeks of age.
Drop off time is from 8 to 8:30 AM. No food after midnight the night before surgery.
They do no do flea drop. They have Revolution flea/tick for $10-$20 depending on the size of the animal.
Donation for nail clips... Could be a penny, dollar or cookies
In my experience, they are hard to get a hold of by phone, very busy, so If he has a food allergy, then he either just developed symptoms to a new food or he has had it for awhile. If you are sure it is a food allergy or maybe even a flea dermatitis due to a flea allergy (very common also), then I would not cancel the surgery. Just mention your concern to them when you get there. Carol, BS, CVA
Visit their website. All options available are listed with pricing. Also starting in november they will open two hours earlier just for vaccinations.
They are pros at feral cats. Our trap, neuter, and return group brings several for spay/neuter, and vaccines nearly every week.
