Beautiful, well-maintained path leading to the monument that overlooks Boonsboro. The gravel path is wide, level, and easy to navigate, even for our toddler. We sometimes park at the upper lot (near the start of the gravel path) and sometimes at the lower lot (using a bit of the Appalachian Trail to get to the upper lot). Great hike to do with kids!

Easy hike to the monument. Lesser visited park, so quieter than others.

This place is beautiful and the story behind it is interesting!

Half mile stroll up a crushed cinder path. It may be a bit steep for some. The reward is worth it though. $2 in state,$5 out of state per carload.

Half mile walk up a stoney road. Not sure if a motorized wheelchair could do it.
1/4 mile? Very easy gravel path
