Can you drive to the Monument or do you need to hike? I wanted to know if it is handicap accessible?

Half mile walk up a stoney road. Not sure if a motorized wheelchair could do it.

You need to walk to the top but it's only a 5 minute walk not bad at all.

You have to hike to the Monument. It is a short hike. It is not handicap accessible.

It's not far, but it is a hike. An uphill hike at that. The ranger did go up to the monument on an ATV (the trail at this point is fairly wide with a reasonable surface) while I was there but I don't think that was an option for the public. By the way the stairs up the Monument itself are a tight ish spiral so that would be an issue too.
