One month in and I love living here, the building is very quiet and residents and employees are all nice. I love the newly added dog area, it makes it convenient when I am up early in the rainy months to let the dogs run around before work.

EDIT: Kayla from the Leasing Office has reached out to me and further explained where the miscommunication has occurred. I appreciate the effort and truly believe they will make it a better place. Updating it to 4 stars. I have lived in this place for 16 months and decided not to continue living here. Just keep in mind -- if you are comfortable with the pricing here, you can basically rent at ANY apartment. So do not limit yourself. Overall, the units are nice, new and well-designed. It's located at a centre of a mall surrounded by shops and grocery stores. Things can be great as long as you don't need anything from the leasing office. Things to consider if you want to move here: 1. Communication with leasing office is extremely difficult. I barely received any response for the emails I sent to them (Less than 5 for entire 16 months). In recent case, they ignored my request to reserve the elevator for move-out. Kayla has been great if I have requests directed to her; otherwise, nothing great to say. Maintenance team has been great, as well. 2. Fire alarm situation. I'm literally having nightmares hearing "there's a fire in the building. please exit the building" because it has gone off countless times. A bit background: the fire alarm is a shared system for the entire building so anything that happens in parking garage, stores will trigger it. I do not blame them for this as I know that they are doing everything they can to resolve it.

A nice spot to live at, a bit cheaper than surrounding apartments, just with smaller and less amenities. Since living here for ~9 months, the fire alarms have had issues, and they'll set them off for 3+ hours at a time to inspect them, what feels like every few months. Kind of surprising nothing has improved on that front. Additionally the support from the front desk wasn't the best upon moving in, though I've heard that's largely because the building is under new management

So I have been living at this location prior to change over in ownership so I have a clear understanding of how it was before and after. I must honestly say I was a bit concerned and confused when suddenly out of nowhere to my knowledge the …Thank you for leaving your feedback for Bell Totem Lake.
