Do not stay here!!! Worst experience ever!! You can not understand anyone who works there. They were incredibly rude to us when we asked for towels for the pool. Most hotels have the towels at the pool. Not this one, you have to stop at the front desk. The lobby is modern the rooms are so outdated. There was no outlet near the bedside to charge my phone. That's super inconvenient when you set an alarm on your phone. We needed more towels couldn't get through to house keeping so we had to walk down. At checkout I asked for a detailed receipt. She couldn't print one for me. I saw there was a $15 extra charge. I was told it was for using the lobby area. I was told a manager would take it off and contact me. Never heard from one. I called 2x and was told the manager was to busy to come to the phone. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Any good reviews have to be fake!

We have stayed several times at this hotel in years' past but, with this stay, we noticed that the quality/cleanliness of our room had declined compared to other times. It appeared that the room had not been vacuumed, there were a few spots on the walls that should have been cleaned, and there was a small amount of (what appeared to be) dried vomit behind the nightstand. There was no TV remote in the room and, when we requested it, it still didn't function with the TV. Lastly, the water pressure in the bathroom sink was poor. The lobby and breakfast areas were clean and the staff was pleasant but, as mentioned above, the cleanliness of the room this time around was disappointing.

All I can say is that we were extremely satisfied while staying at this hotel. The lobby is beautiful and the fireplace in the evening was absolutely comforting in the winter nights we stayed. I cannot come and the staff enough for going out of their way to make us comfortable and making sure that we all had a wonderful stay. One thing that really stood out to me was that the owner or manager was always there and would make sure everything was up to par. Places like this stand out to me and anytime we are back in the area at Ohio Health we will definitely make it a point to stay at this hotel even if it is out of our way.

Everything went well except the fact there wasn't breakfast or at least hot coffee. I had called before I made the reservation to make sure there would be breakfast on xmas day and I understand it's a holiday for staff, but since this was an overnight stop, it would have been nice to grab something quick. I did ask when checking in and the front desk person told me about the breakfast foods. WELL, nothing was out. I think they could've at least had the coffee and I don't use the Keurig in the room since Holiday Inn has good coffee, with the flavored creamers. We stayed on the top floor which has a nice view, it was quiet since we didn't face the road and spacious.

Was very disappointed with that establishment I had made reservations two weeks in advance for a president suite and they wanted to move me over without notifying me of the switch because of the construction and me and my boyfriend was really looking forward to that get away with the suite
