Sibley Honeybee
We went here because we found an injured bird in our yard and took it to the wildlife hospital. The kids really enjoyed the free nature center and all the animals were amazing. It was a great impromptu field trip!

Took an injured bunny. I know it is in good hands now. They will do what they can.

Catch and snip the line man!
There is no entrance fee, it is free for everyone.
Did you try animal control? If anything they may be able to guide you in the right direction for wild animal rescue. Did you call Lakeside?
It's completely free but they do take donations. They are really nice there
When I was there last week the door said they weren't taking baby raccoons. Don't know if it's changed since then.
Yes they will.
You might want to call Lakeside first because I dont think pigeons are Missouri native birds. They only take Missouri native animals but they might be able to tell you what to do.
I think as long as it's not a starling you can just bring it in during business hours, no appt needed. I've taken several birds and rabbits there. They treat and release when they are reafy
They will take it, I've taken two injured bunnies
No but they have a picnic area and trails that you can hike as well as a library inside for kids and displays with snakes and spiders and birds and turtles and other wild animals.
I'll do that Tuesday morning. Or Monday if they are open.
I think that's very good advice Bestpa gave. Gloves to protect you, yard debris like bedding for the babies, protected place overnight so another animal or bird doesn't get them.
Call local animal control. Have an expert do it.
Leave them alone and covered. Mom is close by and will take care of them.
Leave them alone rabbits ween their young at 3 weeks of age... They just leave the nest... The babies are capable of fending for themselves... They will venture out and back at night... Worst thing you can do is disturb the nest... As mom will continue to come back and check on them usually at night.
What did it look like? If it was black and shiny then yes thats what it is. No they are not poisonous and most likely looking for refuge from cooling temperatures or following a food source inside. They will bite and fight. The easisest way to get it out would be to search and find it but carefully. Or bait it with a food prey...which i dont recommend. But if you are not positive as to what kind of snake it is dont attempt anything and call a wildlife expert to remove it.
No. It is geared more towards current animals native to Missouri.
