There are two newborn bunnies in a small burrow in the middle of my backyard and they have been there for almost 24 hours. I have not seen any rabbits tending to them, is there anything I can do for them?

Leave them alone rabbits ween their young at 3 weeks of age... They just leave the nest... The babies are capable of fending for themselves... They will venture out and back at night... Worst thing you can do is disturb the nest... As mom will continue to come back and check on them usually at night.

You can leave them where they are as long as they are in no danger. The mom is around and tending mostly at night. Unless you are ABSOLUTELY positive they are abandoned I would call the center and see how you should proceed.

Leave them alone, mama is more than likely nearby.

Michael had the correct answer. Let them be, unless you are certain the mother is gone.
