This Place must use screens that are incompatible, My iPhone was in better condition before bringing it in., I've now had to Replace my screen twice within two months with them and my Girl Friends iPhone Screen goes black now after getting it fixed here as well.Which location did you get your iPhone repaired? We use only premium iPhone lcd screens. If you come back in we can take a look at the issue.

I’m a phone repair tech and I’ve been doing repairs for 6 years. From Radio Shack, Phone Spa -Perimeter mall ,iXpert -Lenox Mall, each company I’ve been employed doing repairs with them for at least a year or more .The reason why I’m giving 404 Phone Repair 2 stars is because I saw potential that it had to give other great repair companies competition and considering that this a black owned business the city of Atlanta supports that. From phone repairs, computer repairs, phone accessories, laptops/phones for sell,etc. If you been to the store you can see it’s a one stop shop. My experience working for this company as a phone repair technician was the worse. First couple weeks I’ve been on the floor and a lot of customers would return asking for Gerard who is the owner. I’ve witnessed complaints about his customer service, when they’re calling to ask for status of the parts they ordered and can’t get a hold of him , and most common issue is with laptops getting repaired but the customer will return saying the problem was not fixed. I finally decided to look at the reviews of this company myself and thought “ wow, these reviews are horrible”. And I see why. Even the owner responses under the reviews was a little unprofessional. I was told that the owner (Gerard)has a reputation not paying his employees, and I thought ok is just rumors and I can’t say much not knowing the full story. A new tech was hired after me and worked at least 40 hrs week. Eventually the tech was no longer working with us after a month because of other job opportunities. A few weeks after he ended his employment he came back looking for Gerard because he has been holding his payment. Now, when it comes to paying your employees is very crucial that payroll is taken care of in a timely manner and if it will be any issues regarding payment to communicate with your employee , updating them on when the payroll will be done. From September 30th - October 6th 2018 was the last week I worked. Sent in my hours Friday October 12th. Employees clock in and out so my hours should already be accumulated right ? Fine, I send them anyway. Saturday (pay day) for the week ending oct 6th I didn’t receive a payment. Sunday Oct 13th I called Gerard about the payroll and his response was “ banks closed”. Payday is Saturday that’s no excuse but ok. I text Gerard on Monday 12:32pm, no response. So I called him and he says “ I haven’t had time to make that deposit. I’ll take care of it first thing tomorrow morning”. Comes Tuesday ,no response when i text or call. Thursday I kindly asked for an update on my payment via text and got no response. Yesterday Monday Oct 22nd I had to drive to Cumberland Mall for his employees to call Gerard and tell him that I was at his kiosk and he acts like he didn’t understand why I was there . I couldn’t reach him on my phone so of course I finally got a hold of him using one the employees phone . He says that he already paid me. I said “ Oh really? Send me the screenshot of the payment”. The date of the payment that it was completed was the day of, meaning he just sent that payment. [Photos Attached]So not only he doesn’t know how to treat customers , he doesn’t know how to treat his employees either . I couldn’t work with this company any longer. If you want to work for a company that doesn’t value customer service this is the company for you. If you want to constantly remind your “boss” that you need an update on when you will get paid for the hours your worked then go ahead an seek employment here. I worked hard.When there was nothing to do I found something to do. I trained about 5 people since I’ve been here , even though it was NOT my job. There was a couple of them with no experience fixing anything. Seriously? Why waste time? I had to deal with 2 customers phone at the same time because one his employees decided he wanted to come in for extra hours and couldn’t do the repair that was needed, so it was double the work for me .I am not here to complain because at the end of the day this was a learning experience. -10/23/2018
