Brian was so helpful when I was purchasing a new phone. While we ran into two separate problems and I had to return two days in a row, he was attentive, accommodating, and extremely apologetic regarding the situation. Going to the apple store will never be a ~fun~ experience, but he made it genuinely easier and I am really glad I worked with him.

Had a great experience here today! Jesse was a wonderful help with a problem I had. He couldn’t fix it.. nobody else could either, but he put me immediately in touch with a phone call that helped me out right away! This is why we use Apple products!

Well although my name ain't Dorothy, I still feel a bit like I've been swept up from Kansas and flung into a different world. I needed a new laptop (which I am now using to write this review) and thusly had to venture into the wilds of the Portland dystopia. This was particularly harrowing due to the ridiculous size of my truck which navigated the parking structure like an egg navigating a chicken's rear end. Arriving at the Apple place felt a good deal like arriving at Oz with the high gated walls and i fully expected a head to pop out and squawk, "Who rang that bell? But they passed me easily into the hallowed halls where I was met with a bevy of kids young enough to be my great grand kids, or at least so it seemed. I was waiting for them to start singing Follow the yellow brick road and running around like munchkins, but instead they swooped in and started taking care of me. Boy! That's kind of a shock! I mean they were efficient and nice... and patient. They took me by the hand and led me through my options and I didn't feel talked down to or pressured or anything. I mean, what's going on here?! They did seem a little shocked when I pulled out my wad on of cash to buy the damn thing. I think cash is kind of a dying thing, like eight track tapes or AOL addresses. And while I'm talking to this young woman, suddenly someone magically appears with my laptop and places it in front of me like a stack of bacon and biscuits. Very tricky. I was amazed that what looked like the Land of Oz chaos actually seemed pretty damned efficient. Oh, and I should mention the bathroom! A joy for an old man to find a clean spacious bathroom before once again braving bewildering streets of Portland. Maybe I won't wait five years before shopping here again, although I might have my wife drive.

Its unfortunate about the place being safeguarded like a bank... Guess the scars around downtown were cut deep.. but walk past that and you have people waiting around to help you like car salesmen, only without the pressure to buy stuff! Just browsing around and seeing that huge screen in the middle showcasing the product is so cool!

You can schedule an appointment with Apple using the following link :: - https://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/
You can schedule a repair for the Apple Store using their support website here :: - https://support.apple.com/iphone/repair/service
Definitely seek phone support before scheduling an appointment. If you do want to just go in definitely schedule an appointment as walk-ins are regularly not available at all. They have a really convenient appointment scheduling system here :: - https://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/
They're super nice with dogs, but definitely keep in mind that there are frequently hundreds of people milling around and some of them might not be cool with a dog in an enclosed space. That being said, when I did it once it was perfectly fine :D
They should be able to help out with the process. You can schedule an appointment using the following link :: - https://support.apple.com/iphone/repair/service If you're having a more general issue like slowness it might be worth calling in to Apple Support to see if they can walk you through troubleshooting to address the issue without taking it in. If neither of those options resolves the symptoms you're experiencing definitely consider touching base with an independent repair shop and see if they can do something that is outside of the scope of Apple's repair options (logic board repair, etc)
Just going in for a consultation shouldn't cost anything and any costs should be explained clearly with an opportunity to decline a repair if you want. No risk in finding out!
well..
Hi, I don't think so. I walked in and bought a phone and a watch.
If you want a refurbished iPhone, check your cellular provider's website. They only sell brand new devices.
$329 or $449
Sure
Yes, Apple Stores are able to sell factory unlocked iPhones direct to customers for activation on any compatible network. Worth considering is making a purchase directly from Apple via their website here :: - https://www.apple.com/iphone/buy/
If you have a backup from before the infection you should be able to take your Apple product in for a clean installation of macOS and then restore from that backup. If you're looking for more of a cleanup service you'll want to get in touch with an Apple Authorized Service Provider like Simply Mac on Multnomah or an independent repair shop in town. Best way to assess the quality of an independent repair shop is asking friends and family for recommendations then reading through the reviews and giving them a call!
Yes it is. You can also pick one up through the Apple website here :: - https://www.apple.com/shop/buy-iphone/iphone-8
There are a ton of things that could be going on that would prevent your iPhone 6S from charging properly. First things to check would be :: - Battery Health (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208387) - Charging Port Debris (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJisCKosTEE) - Charging Port Damage (https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/iPhone+6s+Lightning+Connector+Assembly+Replacement/62572) - Logic Board Damage, TriStar (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGPW6d3oFyQ)
They won't necessarily be able to help you recover data, but they should be able to help you reset it to factory defaults and restore from a local or iCloud Backup!
If you want to have Apple Corporate or an Apple Authorized Service Provider resolve the cracked camera lens issue you're going to have to do a full device replacement as they consider it damage to the housing. Here is a rough breakdown for pricing that they maintain for warranty and out-of-warranty device replacements :: - https://support.apple.com/iphone/repair/service This is would be a good time to either get in touch with an independent repair shop in town and get a quote for just the camera lens replacement, or reference a YouTube video and do the repair yourself as it's normally not terribly difficult and the part is very affordable. Here is a good walkthrough of that repair process for an iPhone 7; There are tons of other available repair guides for all the iPhones though :: - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TeDktasaPxU
The store is temporarily closed
Yes you can. Go through the iPhone Repair and Support workflow here :: - https://support.apple.com/iphone/repair/service
You can schedule an appointment with Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider using the following website :: - https://support.apple.com/iphone/repair/service In the relatively near future Apple is going to stop supporting these device though and independent repair shops are going to be your only option. Fortunately we have a vibrant independent repair community in Portland! Just make sure that you ask family and friends for recommendations then read reviews for those places and call ahead to make sure they're able to do the repairs you need!
Apple no longer sells the iPhone 6 Plus so if you want that specific model you are going to need to look into availability of refurbished iPhones through a third-party like the ones below :: - https://swappa.com/buy/iphones - https://www.backmarket.com/refurbished-iphone.html - https://www.amazon.com/apple-certified-refurbished-iphone/s?k=apple+certified+refurbished+iphone If you want to speak with an Apple Sales Specialist about getting a new iPhone this would be the best place to do that :: - https://www.apple.com/iphone/buy/
Agree with Shaneeka, you best make an appointment or clear your entire day to wait 😁
Go to the Apple website and select the Pioneer Place store and click on appointment. There may be a few more steps.
After looking at the apple website. It show you have to pre-order them. So, I'd say no they don't have them in stock yet.
Yes.
Yes.
Depends on the quality you want and options. I bought the 150 dollar Airpods because it does everything I need it to do. I think you can spend very little money if you just want to listen to music.
You can schedule an appointment using the following link :: - https://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/
yes
Sometimes they consider trade ins. Policies changes ...
No sales tax at all
It's always best to schedule an appointment when visiting Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider, especially when a repair is what you're looking to have done. Not only does it guarantee you a slot (even if it may get pushed back sometimes) it means that they know what device you are bringing in and can make sure that they have the appropriate part in stock. Worth noting for the iPhone 6 is that Apple will eventually stop supporting them for software and hardware repairs. When that happens make sure you check with independent repair shops in your area to see what they can do for you before upgrading, especially if your iPhone 6 is still working for you!
For fun I went ahead and did a rough calculation of square footage for the customer accessible space. It comes out to around 12,000 square-feet which is a large space. There are no internal walls except for the rear dividing wall which customers are not able to pass which, paired with the glass external enclosure of the building and the TREES they have in the store makes it feel even bigger!
There is a one year manufacturer warranty included from the time of sale and you may have purchased AppleCare as well which would extend that initial warranty and add coverage for a couple incidents of accidental damage like liquid damage or cracked displays. You can check your current warranty status here :: - https://checkcoverage.apple.com/
You should go to the Apple Store 450 SW Yamhill with your phone. My experience has has been that the staff members are accomplished and ready to work with you and your locked phone issues.
Apple is offering free battery replacement for some models, see Apple to see if your phone qualifies.
You can find all the class and workshop offerings that any of the Apple Stores have here :: - https://www.apple.com/today/calendar/
For what? For most things, just walk in.
Just make an appointment.
You can schedule using this site :: - https://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/
Go online, find the phone you want, but it & have it picked up at the location

Try Craigslist or Amazon, you might be able to find better deals there
Yes total cost will be $29. Don't know if it's valid for rest of 2018

Hey kyle, i would recommend you walking into the store with your question and their technician will be able to tell you if they are able to help you or not
You can find current pricing and speak with an Apple Sales Specialist here :: - https://www.apple.com/iphone/buy/
This is not an Apple site.
You'll want to either get in touch with Apple using the link below or seek an independent repair shop out that can replace your battery or at least assess the health. - https://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/ Here is some more relevant information for testing your iPhone 7 battery :: - https://support.apple.com/iphone/repair/service/battery-power
You can find the current listing and sign-up options for all available classes and workshops at your local Apple Store here :: - https://www.apple.com/today/calendar/
Depending on what specific information you need to change and if it is an account that Apple administers there are going to be different ways you'll want to approach this. I would always recommend starting with a call to Apple Support via phone :: - https://www.apple.com/contact/ If they are unable to resolve the issue via phone, chat, or email they will be able to setup an appointment for you to physically visit an Apple Store and verify your identity. I have never run into a situation where sharing digital copies of identifying information was not enough though so save yourself a trip :D
Sim cards do not store your photos
They will likely want to do a mail-in device replacement so make sure to backup the device if possible and then schedule an appointment here :: - https://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/
No idea you should probably call them. I would avoid a Macbook completely. Bought better options out there
