The people here are angels with feet! Placing animals in fur ever homes is their number one priority. An entire network of veteranarians locals and a huge heart director make the world a better place!!

While searching for our missing dog, Gentleman on the phone was exceptionally helpful. Wish I got his name. This shelter is so much more caring than the Bakersfield shelters.

The folks at that shelter really care about the animals, and they were very supportive and helpful to me when I went to adopt a dog from there. So maybe they will have an idea how to help you, if you ask.

I think there might be one at tank park on May 7 in the morning. At least I know they are doing the shot clinic then.

Does this shelter have a food bank?

Yes, I agree with calling them. They will probably take any donated dog or cat food. If they do not then they may be able to point you in the right direction.

Is there any Spay and nuter deals for cats

Talk to Kimberly about the spay and neuter voucher. The program cost $20, you receive a voucher for low income (must show proof of income) and for residents of kern County, the service is provided by critters without litters. There are also other programs in the valley for low income residents.

Dogs come in and out of the shelter daily. It's best to go in and take a look. You may fall in love with one of the many babies in there

Do you have a feral animal program up here that will still let you keep them and if not can you direct me please. A few of us have feral cats but they are good at mice population, but don't want over population of the cats. Thank you Carrie Lyn

What happened to me was that i turned the feral cat into them, put a reservation on adopting her and in ten days when she was cleared as a healthy animal, i picked her up along with a certificate to have her fixed for free, with all her shots for only five dollars! Worth every cent. We have a wonderful facility here.

How much do you charge for your dogs

50$ for vaccine microchipping and spay and neuter 20 for cats with same treatment
