This lake is very large, driving through the streets, it took us about 1 hour to finish driving through everything. There were people taking their boats and jet skis. It was nice that people arrived with food and meat to roast.

There isn't any shade trees and it's boon docking. There is fill and dump as soon as you enter. We chose to boondock at the lower Kern River next to the water by a big tree. We fished, prospect and watch a bunch of rafters go by. Everyone was in the water swimming on Saturday.

Yes absolutely and it will be so beautiful and you won't regret it especially when the sun rises at about 5:25 a.m.

Unfortunately not. Lake patrol comes around and doesn't want any one in the water by a certain time. Due to the risks of drowning.
