Good place to spend a night at the lake. Many amazing spots for car and tent with tables and barbecue pits. Restrooms could be cleaner though.

If it is open, yes. Sometimes, in the winter, Forest Service, locks it up. If open, it also has overnight camping.
Yes always check with the forest service first to confirm if there are any fire restrictions in the area and also pay attention to signs in the are your camping in and you can always flag down a Forest service fire prevention petrole unit that will be able to help you with any questions you have they're usually in a single cab utility truck with a water pump on the back of it and a light bar on top
I don't believe you can eat the fish you catch. The lake has a pretty bad case of blue green algae
Yes you do , I went a couple of weeks ago , and also the ranger go and check you have it
You get to pick your spot from whatever is available when you arrive. There are lots of water spigots, but some sites don't have them.
Hi Amiyoko, this is high desert its normally warm that time of year. 90+ degrees and there is usually a mild to brisk wind. Perfect for all lake isabella has to offer!
I paid with cash 30 dollars

Yes
No
Fires are currently not allowed at this campground
Nope
if you mean the sequoia camping pass, which let's you camp on the shore of the lake, you can get those at the Golden state Surplus in Lake Isabella town, the hours can be found on Google Maps. If you mean for camping in an actual spot with a table and fire circle, there's no ranger box for that, the camp host drives around in a golf cart in the mornings.
You can only use one pole with a standard license in this state! You can purchase a second pole sticker that attaches to that license. If it hasn't changed the children are not required to have a license, up to 16 years old if their with a parent. Check fishing regs online to make sure!
Yes $50 year Don't know how much for 2day
The camp doesn't sell them. But Isabella supermarket many dam corner stores as well as the big ranger station
