A gem location here in Seattle, especially in the spring and summer. It's a 2.8 walk around the lake. You can rent paddle boats, pick a nice picnic spot. Fish, nature watch. Lots of people jogging around the lake. Tennis courts, a small place to get food and coffee or across the street there are places to get a bite. The lake is beautiful. Easy parking and it's near the zoo.

This park is part of the of the original Seattle park system among Seward park, Volunteer park, Washington arboretum, etc. It has a ~2.8mile loop around the lake, and it's wheelchair friendly all the way. Great place to walk, run and bring your kids/dogs. You will spot waterfowl, ducks and all other small animals and birds on your way. You can also rent pedal boats and kayaks to take on the lake.

Stopped by to wait out I-5 traffic. Excellent choice! 2.8 mile walking and jogging path. Watched the locals keep fit, had a coffee, and saw some Bald Eagles too. Beautiful neighborhood and trees.

I absolutely loved that there were no homeless tents or motorhomes with piles of garbage on the west side of the lake. The lake is so beautiful and the park is gorgeous. It was a wonderful walk with very good friend.

Yes, at Greenlake Boathouse. They offer 2 or 4 man paddle boats.
Yes, there are benches in this park. Just make sure you bring your yoga pants, ok?
Austin from the outside yes there appear to be great pickup basketball games on the east side of the park near the rec center outside.
no one will stop u so technically yes. but fyi bread is really bad for ducks, research more about whats good to feed them
I don't know for sure, but I doubt it. Woodland Park has sheds for BBQs. Try there.
I've seen people let their dogs go in the lake for play. There is no specified area for this. Probably not allowed in the swimming areas.
I saw only 2 or 4
I dont think anybody really cares if you want to jump to happy butt into that cold water at night time! It's not like its posted or any thing.
As Greg wrote, see the shelters in adjacent Woodland Park - There are a few which I think are reserveable off of 50th and off of Aurora.
Yes. Large lots on the north and southwest sides, though they are closed during the pandemic.
The northeast side of the lake has a community Center, fields and a playground. Have fun!
The park closes at 11:00pm. I walk there early in the morning and see more people that are experiencing homelessness sleep there...not sure wha the rules are for regular camping.
If you have what you need, if possible, of course take your precautions and ask the staff in charge to avoid problems
2.8 miles on the paved path, and 3.2 miles on the outer gravel path
Not sure..but I would not advise on eating fish from the lake. I've seen signs posted before.
