A nice place to come and enjoy the sun, watch boaters, and just chill. I recommended biking there as there are marked biking trails along East and West Lake. Also, the Burke-Gilman Trail is on the north side of the lake. Take the Burke-Gilman to Gas Works Park and take in that amazing view of the skyline, then bike to Lake Union Park to enjoy enjoy the opposing view. The pictures I posted are from Lake Union Park and Gas Works Park.

Despite it being a pretty safe choice, Lake Union Park is definitely one of my favorite park that seattle has to offer. Gorgeous views of not only the lake and north seattle but also of downtown and the entire seattle skyline. Lots of space to sit down and bask. Wonderful experience.

Most scenic place around SLU to spend time with friends or family or go on a walk alone on a bright sunny day. Although beware that the place gets too crowded on such days but nevertheless quite good explore on foot or go biking and if you love staying in water go sailing or kayaking. They also have sailing lessons provided there by the wooden club if you're interested.

Nice views of the city, lake, and space needle. The park itself is a little boring though. Would be nice with some trees and shade.

You can rent water craft. I noticed canoes and kayacks, but didn't look specifically for pedal boats.
Not that I've seen maybe in another part of the park there are benches and plenty of grassy areas
No
Not unless you'd like to pay or find a way into the condominiums parking lot.
Sadly, for you, no free parking and parking is scarce BUT, you can take the streetcar right there. If you're in one of the main buildings at the Cancer Care Alliance, a streetcar stop is not far from you. Good luck.
That I don't know sorry!
There is public space parking, its really affordable, and free after 8 pm
The fountains turn on 5/26/ -9/3 the hours of operation is 11a.m. 8p.m. daily 😀
