Huge pool in Saratoga State Park. It's the perfect place to unwind after a nice hike or walk through the park. It's really clean with lots of lifeguards. They even have a Ben and Jerry's ice cream shop! There's picnic tables, lounge chairs, and a water slide! We will definitely be returning next weekend!

This pool is clean, but shallow(4 ft "deep end"), and over regulated with state nonsense. I.e. telling adults which goggles they're allowed to use, and not allowing parents to put a life vest of their choice on their kids.

Once you have paid to get in the park this is free. Lots of water 💦 and that makes me happy, great lifeguards, just an all around good time. 👍.

Great family friendly pool.

June 26th, per their website.
There are a few picnic tables, they are usually taken. There are also benches but they're right in the sun. I would bring lawn chairs if you want some shade
yes it was
Yes
I don't think so.
You have to be 48" of height to go on the waterslides, I'm 5'8" so clearly I can ride then
No, anyone is welcome.
Sure is, we're here now
No they don't. They did along time ago but now have a waterside instead.
Yes the pool should be open today. Unless the weather is bad in Saratoga and they closed due to thunder and lightning
Yes there are a few grills oever there
Its not free to park you pay 10.00 dollars and the pool is free
I have worn shorts n sleeveless T over my suit in their pool with no issues. My daughter wears shorts over her suit too she is 5.
Both pools use treated water, but the Victoria doesn't have much of a chlorine odor. If you want to bathe in the mineral springs water, you can book a traditional extra-deep tub soak at Spa Park's historic baths. Contact the Gideon Putnam Hotel to make a reservation. Walk-ins are often available, as well as other spa treatments. City residents can bathe for a discount, bring proof of residency. Soaking in fizzy mineral water full of bubbles is definitely a unique experience! Saratoga Spring Water is supposed to be good for healthy skin as well as for skin aliments. I believe Crystal Spa on South Broadway near the park also offers mineral water baths.
You can't rent it out I'm pretty sure
As of summer 2019, fees have changed. It's now $10 per vehicle to park, and Peerless Pool entrance is now free. Nice! Want to stop paying for parking at NY State Parks? NY residents can pay for a State Park "Empire Pass card", which is good for free to discounted entrance to NY State Park and DEC facilities (for 1 vehicle). Passes can be shared with the household, can be renewed, and are available in 1 year, 3yr, or 5yr cards. Or a lifetime pass on your driver's license if you don't share ;) A 1yr pass starts at $80. If you frequently visit State Parks and can spare the cash, an Empire Pass may be a real money saver. Just show the family card at the entrance booth for free parking at SPA Park, Million Dollar Beach, Moreau, and lots more all across NY. More info and applications here: https://parks.ny.gov/admission/empire-passport/

The state park yes, but not in pool area
Yes! Nothing in glass containers, though. There's also a snack bar if you forgot something/don't want to bring food.
Yes. There is a cost to get into the park (SPAC- around $5), and then a fee to use the peerless pool that's located in the park (around $2).
