HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! My 25 year old Maytag washer developed a small leak. I called to request service and set up a repair time. They accommodated my schedule. Jamie, the owner, showed up on time and was able to repair the washer with a simple fix. He is friendly and respectful and answered all questions. I have a 90 day warranty. His service/trip charge is in line with other companies. There were no surprises. Mountain Appliance Services will take care of your appliance repair needs.

I don't know if they are any good or not. My repair appointment was scheduled for between 12 and 4 today. No one called or showed. It is now 4:30 and I have been trying to call for an hour. There has not been any answer and the last time I called I didn't even get the answering machine. It just rang for about 3 minutes and disconnected. It is frustrating to take time off from work for a no show. Their website is saying they are now closed until 8:30 tomorrow.

I recall the old commercials where Maytag Repairmen were lonely, and never got any calls because their machines were SO reliable. They have definitely "fixed" THAT problem. Our new washer (14 months old) had never worked quite right, and the issues were getting worse. I am SO HAPPY that the salesperson at Home Depot had alerted us that the 10 Year Warranty (LOL) placard affixed to the machine only covered two distinct parts. He recommended that we go online and purchase a better plan as soon as we get the machine. ANYWAY ... I HAVE to give Jamie, and Mountain Appliance the highest scores. Jamie knows his stuff, and was able to diagnose the problem quickly. We needed to wait a few weeks for a new main computer board to be delivered, but the repair went very quickly once we had the part. Jamie is a great guy! We had some nice conversation while he was here, and the machine is currently running better than it ever did. Thanks, Mountain Appliance, and Jamie! We hope we don't need your services again, but are happy to know you'll be there if we need you.
