Love this park!! The slash pad is amazing. Great view of the lake. Great area, bathrooms were good. Plenty of shade and even grills. Can’t believe I’ve lived in Orlando so long and didn’t know about this place.

As a tourist it was fantastic to meet all of the people who work in the emergency services in and around Sanford. Great to see the community giving up it's time to educate kid's and adults alike

This is one of my kids and my favorite playground. Pros: 1. Clean restrooms 2. Big playground with multiple play structures for all ages 3. Splash pad 4. Shaded pavilion and benches 5. Basketball court 6. Beautiful scenic view of the lake in the background 7. Walking/running trail around the park Cons: 1. It can get creepy in the evening here. 3. The slides and some areas of play structures get too hot in the summer due to lack of shade in the play area.

Beautiful place, amazing and kind people, clean and peaceful!! My first time here with my kids and definitely not the last one. Went to the Museum and Karen was very informative and very nice to my kids (the way she explained everything so they could understand) RECOMMENDED 100%!!

No tents
What do you need to know?
Yes, just not the play ground. I reserved a shelter space and was told the playground isn't going to be open til some time in October.
You should call. They have a number to call to see if the spots are rented.
Its open 24 hrs, theres signs posted as well.
You go to the City if not go to the Sanford City page
Sorry I'm not sure about that
As long as they are on a lease they should be OK there is a big open field I'm sure they could get on but probably are not allowed in the children's playground.
not for the park itself. water splash area for kids is couple of bucks.
No, just the shoreline, or wall to fish from.
Park is free except splash pad usually 2-3 dollars over kid unless first Friday of the month it's free
You need to call the Seminole County parks and recreation.
I visited so many places parks restaurants that now I do not remember individual details now I am in Venezuela. greetings soon I'll be back
Yes. The one in downtown Sanford is $1. There are a few free ones in volusia county.
They are on a timer so u can have them on as long as u want
Playground is free. The spray ground is about $2 a person.
I would assume you can
I am not sure about the cost. My kids and nieces always set up the birthday parties for the grandkids there. You will need to call them for costs and availability.
Yes...dog friendly...but you have to keep your dog on a leash and clean up after them.
