It was our first time ever kayaking, and Gina made everything so easy. She gave us a short lesson and some tips on do’s and don’ts, and we were off! We paddled against the current and then when we felt like we were done (about two hours later) we came back. Park at the parking lot and take a 1 minute walk to the end of the road where you will find a trailer full of kayaks and gear, and someone around to help. Paddles were provided as well as life jackets. The earlier the better! We arrived early and saw a lot of birdlife and a couple gators, fish, and turtles. All in all, a great trip and we will be back for more! Thanks Gina!

Herbert and Greg make it easy to get to the far away hidden places that few people paddle. They introduced me to the Little Wekiva (like Rock Springs but no other people) and the Lake Norris conservation area. Would have never found these gems on my own. I later discovered that these guys are the only shuttle operators on the entire river and the only free place to launch on the entire river! Highly recommend to all serious paddlers and seekers of wilderness.

Such a beautiful piece of property. The setting is ideal for weddings, parties, or a quiet and serene get away. Wekiva River access for canoes and kayaks. Beautiful pavilion.
