Had dinner here tonight. The car/seats were so cool. The atmosphere was so relaxing with the stars. And the trailers of old 50s movies was fantastic. Reminded us of the old days 70s, 80s and 90s drive in movies. Food was pretty good too. Waiter (Gene), was pretty good and made sure all was well at our table. Glad we ate here while at Hollywood Studios.

If you have less than six, you will be eating with strangers behind you. Also you do not face your entire party, you all look forward. Menu was reduced 4 months ago and they removed a lot of fan favorites. Prices are high for portions but service is good. Food was basically bar food, it gets the job done if you are hungry but I guess you shouldn't come here for the food.

Absolutely fantastic! Service was impeccable and the burgers to die for. We did have a little bit of a wait for our table though- around 25 minutes. Burgers were the best we had in Disney! A must do when in Orlando.

I've been coming to this restaurant since I was small and it just gets better and better. We had Khalid as our server and he was so great. He was super attentive, fast, and super nice. The newer menu items were delicious. The shakes are always great. The atmosphere is what makes the place though. You feel like you stepped right into a 1950's drive in. The clips on the screen are cool and funny, and the whole experience is just a blast everytime. You should definitely make a reservation for this whenever you go to Disney world!

Fun yes . Food not so much .. and the price is to much
We enjoyed it very much every time we've been. The steak and shake is my favorite meal there but they have several options.
Mickey and Minnie stayed home during quarantine but they are both here now... . Everyday visiting with our guests...
Menu for the sci fi dine in is https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/hollywood-studios/sci-fi-dine-in-theater/menus/
No, but I highly recommend Disney dining reservations. The wait can be excessive or they can be completely full.
Park admission is required
It doesn't have a drive thru. It's inside Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. There are fiberglass cars you sit in while you eat and watch the old footage of movies
Yes They do seat close together keep in mind each table is like a old time car and in the back the have special car to accommodate large groups its a really cool experience
The app is your best bet. They hold some seats and release them as the date gets closer. Just keep checking. If not, then i wouldn't wait at all. Just go there as soon as the park opens and see what they can do for you.
Agreed with Chris. Walk ins are barely available but do happen. Make a reservation
Absolutely and it's only one table service if you have the dining plan.
During slower periods you can walk in with very little wait, it is easier to get seated with smaller parties of 2
If you sit in the cars (most fun) two adults per row. 3 rows per car but some may have 4 rows. Maybe 3 kids per row but you don't want to squeeze in. So fun in there, though!
Did not see a Reuben on the menu when I was there 2 weeks ago. Sorry. They changed up a bunch of things since I was there a year before.
I couldn't agree more. You will struggle a bit with the menu options but the drinks are great.
Park admission is required to dine at this restaurant. You should make a reservation if you want to be guaranteed the opportunity to dine at this location.
Great place to eat at. Make reservations early!
