Always a good time, love this event

Our family had an amazing time at this long standing Disney World Resort classic. The food was surprisingly very good from the starter creamy coleslaw and corn bread. To the well seasoned fried chicken and baked beans with the perfect hint of sweet and savory flavors. The ribs had a nice smokey flavor but were a little dry. You cannot beat the all you can drink beer, wine, or sangria included in the price for dinner. Straw Berry Short Cake to end the meal is mosit and light. The entertainers really made the experience putting on a classic sometimes corney show. But go with an appetite and willingness to have fun and you're in for a good family time.

Great show! Great food! Drinks were very watered down though.

I have not laughed so hard in a long time, despite having seen show before. Great show!!

Dinner and show and tip. As much as you can eat and drink (booze too)
Go to a park- then take the fort wilderness bus.
Cost varies based on where you want to be seated much like in a concert, down front costs the most, upper catwalk is cheaper, back of the room on main floor is middle-road cost wise if I remember right.
Yes, just book 6 months out. When I was a kid my family never stayed at Disney but we still did the Hoop Dee Doo
The answer to your question is NO! The only party eating from said serving dishes, is your own party. Go enjoy! It is an amazing time! If you LOVE the food and just wanna do a dinner... check out the "Trails End Cafe" next door, it's an all you care to eat Buffet with same food PLUS many other country fixin's!!! Warning: The Desserts are dangerously delicious! Seating is crazy, if you get there early or it's a slower weeknight you might get a table close to the buffet, otherwise double plate each trip and stock up. Remember you're on vacation, the calories are magical... lol
You can drive but plan 1 hr from when you get there. You have to ride a bus from the front of the campground to the show location and it can get busy at show times. It is worth it. Took my wife and 5 kids last week. Had a great time. Make sure you get plenty of food the waitresses will not be around during the main show and we forgot we had food to eat.
You can eat at any of the resorts (hotels) without a park ticket
You have to make dinner reservations ahead of time. In doing so if you are on the meal plan you can use 2 sit down table service's, instead of paying cash. Which are connected with your magic band.
Usually the shows are 4:00 pm, 6:15 pm and 8:30 pm.
Keep checking as you get closer to your desired day as people regularly cancel as their plans change.
They're open Wednesday through Sunday but the earliest availability is probably 60 days from today. I spent 2 weeks checking the Disney experience app at 6am just to get tickets to the September 23rd show. Best of luck!
Yes unlimited beer, soda and wine. Also fried chicken. And ribs along with mashed potatoes, beans, Cole slaw , Mac and cheese cornbread and salad. Food was excellent. Chicken still the best.
I was told by a manager, they he hopes to get the show back open by summer.
Any diet restrictions was the first question asked. Someone at our table had a gluten allergy and got their plate of grilled chicken and gluten free shortcake.
Anywhere. They walk around upstairs and downstairs. Can see the stage from all areas. I like the balcony personally but have been seated in other areas and was able to see just as well.
No Disney theme park ticket required. You have to make dinner reservations. It's located within the campground but you don't have to be staying at the campground
Not really a buffet ... they bring out Fried Chicken, BBQ Ribs, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Salad and Cornbread in separate bowls to your table. It's all you can eat, so if you finish something they'll bring out more. Dessert is a Strawberry Shortcake on a large plate to divvy up between a few people. All of it was really good! Nothing fancy, but all good. Everybody in our party liked everything.
Hoop De Doo is a pre pay dinner show. You will be charged at the time of reservation. Cancellation must be 24 hours before your booked show
You must be an actual cast member and call a number in order to place the reservation. The cast discount for yourself and however many guests you have guest passes for is 50%.
10% discount for Passholders holders. Discount applies to the non-discounted dinner show price (excluding tax and gratuity)
Yes I just did!!!
Not exactly sure about that question but i can tell you I hate the taste of salt and i loved every ounce of food I ate there.
Hey Tim. The pricing structure is broken down into 3 tiers of seating, and the only options are for children or adults. Passholder discounts do apply however if you have anual passes.
6 months. You can reserve up until the day of the show but it fills up fast so i wouldn't wait. If you already waited and it's full just keep checking you might get lucky. It is a great show.
There isn't parking in front for cars. You can either ride the boat over from Magic Kingdom or park in the main parking lot of Fort Wilderness and catch a bus to Pioneer Hall.
It is open every day unless there is special circumstance. You can check availability on the my Disney experience website. Go to the info page for the show and you will see a reservation calendar on the right side. It can tell you if it is open on the day you are planning to go.
