Buses to Fort Wilderness
Take a bus to magic kingdom. Then take a boat to ft. Wilderness. Fastest easiest way.
You should take a bus from your resort to the Fort Wilderness Campground (not the lodge). Once at the campground you'll need to transfer to the resort buses. It is a very large property and this is the easiest way to navigate it. You'll want to make sure the resort bus you board is heading for the Settlement. Head down the mulch path from the bus stop and the Hoop will be the first building you come across, right after the pony pen. Hope this helps 😊.
Bus to Magic Kingdom, boat to Fort Wilderness.
We took a minnie van to get there. They are allowed to use the bus roads. It was great! We left on the boat right as the mk fireworks were going. Awesome!
Uber to contemporary is also pretty fast. And the boat is less crowded
I agree with the bus to Magic Kingdom and then boat to Fort Wilderness. The boat will drop you right at the Settlement, which is where the Hoop-dee-doo building is. If you take the bus to Fort Wilderness, you have to then transfer to the Fort Wilderness buses and ride through all the stops to the back, which can take some time depending on the number of people getting on and off at the various stops.
Bus to MK, then boat to Fort Wilderness. Fast and fun trip on bay lake.
