During slower periods you can walk in with very little wait, it is easier to get seated with smaller parties of 2

Reservation are good but not necessary if you go during slow times. If you want to die in the fun cars reservations are best. Otherwise you might end up sitting at the tables in the back. Our family of seven or nine people has successfully eatten here dozen of times without a reservation.

If I remember correctly, no reservations are needed.
