Travelers beware: I pulled up at shortly before 11am on 7/3/2021 to closed gates, despite everything on Google and their website saying they were open. I advise calling before making the trip. When I drove by again around 2pm the gates were still closed.

My whole family was in awe at the size of the cave and the history. Great tour guide- you can tell he loved his job! His comments also entertained the kids and educated the adults. The store seemed quaint and had that "family owned" feeling. There was lots of walking, uneven ground, stairs, and some stooping while walking. May be difficult for elderly or disabled. The cave is spacious mostly, with some rooms big enough to fit two story houses in. Although there were no tight spaces, I did get mild feelings of anxiety/claustrophobia, which I found interesting and curious, but the tour guide said this might happen for first time cave tourists and said to just let him know if you wanted to take a break. I highly recommend this tour!
