If I could give 0 stars to the new management, I would. I feel so frustrated and so sad that with this change everything is out of control.I really loved living here, but not anymore. We are residents at Haven at Lake Deer, Winter Haven Florida. We currently have ongoing issues with the new staff at this location, and have been unsuccessfully trying to get in contact with the manager of this complex, but have come across rude and unprofessional staff members that give wrong information, and blame us the residents for their mistakes, resulting in us having to pay extra for mistakes that the staff have made. We have been trying to set up a call or a meeting with the manager to get these issues resolved, but the people they have answering the phones are unreliable and literally will laugh when explained that there is an issue going on. Since calls are recorded for “quality assurance” I would like to pull these calls up and hear how the staff is treating us and giving ups the wrong information, and because of that we have to pay fines???? If a manager sees this, I would love to meet or a call to talk more into details.

Brenda at the leasing office stayed until after close to help us get our keys on move in day after I came in later from work. The process to rent was easy, and both our apartment and the property was gorgeous.

There is absolutely no storage, no storage shed, no storage adjacent to the balcony like in most apartments. Closet space is minimal at best, since there is no washer and dryer included, you will have to buy and or lease them, these will have to go in your walk-in closet, which will take up your entire walk-in closet, therefore you have no closet space either.
Call the officer because they charge things often. But I do know they have a deposit on animals and restrictions.
Rental agents r good and knowledgeable. A 20 something girl moved in next to me and haven't slept since. Loud music constant shouting all night. Her boyfriend chain smokes outside my door all night. I have had several neck surgeries and my throat burns from smokers. Had to take the exit fee and get out as soon as I could. Some of this is age gap and some of it is living with ppl who don't know how to live in a rental community.
They have washer/dryer hookups but the washer drain will overflow if you have a newer washer (meaning newer than 1980). This has been a nightmare for me. I have lived here 3 mos and have basically been told too bad, they won’t spend the money to upgrade the drain pipe.

The pet limit is not the issue, the issue was that your neighbor will almost certainly have a dog or dogs that bark constantly, enjoy listening to that all day and all night.

The application process here is ridiculous, similar to applying for a job with the FBI. It will take three for even five days, you’ll be asked 1000 questions, expected to pay a bunch of deposits, and by the time they’re done you could have it rented an apartment someplace else, which is probably the better option anyway.
