The room carpet was dirty and needed to be stretched. The shower door didn’t close and was on the wrong side so you get doused with cold water when you start a shower. The cooling system wouldn’t cool below 74 degrees regardless of the setting. The fitted sheets didn’t fit so you end up sleeping partially on a wad of sheets and partially on the mattress. Yuck! The broadband WiFi was down so no premium channels in the room. The pool was down too. In July! The bathroom fan and lights are on one switch I’m guessing so you don’t leave the light on all night. This saves the property a few cents per room per month but makes it difficult and unsafe to find the bathroom during the night. This is a tired and poorly designed property. The front desk personnel and Starbucks stand attendant were very nice.

Positive: The location was ideal, with proximity to the mall, Carmel and Broad Ripple. The attached parking garage with unlimited entry/exit was a big plus. The pet friendly option was also a nice benefit. Negative: The advertisement listed it as a free breakfast hotel, but the onsite restaurant/kiosk didn't offer free breakfasts.

This was an okay-looking hotel. We had to pay for parking and there is a restaurant that gives breakfast but otherwise, you get no breakfast either. The pool was packed and the walls were thin. Some of the doors/hallways on our floor were chipped and had scratches in several places. You had to use your room key to be able to use the elevator. This hotel was just more of an inconvenience than anything. The only thing that was great was a checkout time of noon.

As I am not a fan of writing poor reviews, sadly I did need to write this one as a warning to future customers. This hotel is significantly unkept. Our room was somewhat unclean when we entered. The bathtub had some weird film at the bottom of it. The doors and walls looked that like they had been kicked at at some point in time. Never properly patched up. The pool was ice cold. Probably the coldest indoor pool I’ve ever seen. But, it probably was a good idea we did not spend a lot of time in the pool because of the light and electrical wire hanging in the pool. (That is not a joke, I will attach a picture). However, the hot tub was very nice. The only bad part about the hot tub was looking over at the rust covered vents. Just seemed a little unhealthy. I truly do not write this review to be hateful towards the hotel, as I have had a lot of great experiences at different Sheridan hotels. This one just happened to be the worst. Hopefully management will take time to update what is needed.
