Well this place is awesome! What a joy it was walking in for the first time. Guess what?! If you're a member of Lincoln City or Newport, your card works here too! You can even drop your returns off at your local branch! Check out the Dewey Decimal card catalog piece right before you walk in. You'll notice lots of murals inside, themed children's room, high vaulted ceilings upstairs that are all staffed with kind patient employees. If you haven't been, see if you can work out a few hours to check this wonderful library out.

Great library! Teen section, Spanish language section, computers, first floor for kids books, second floor for adults, lots of comfy chairs and big windows for reading, Paperback book exchange on a rack on 2nd floor and more...

While the building and staff are great, the website has a very problematic message on it. They seemingly celebrate the KKK for donating money to the library, not a single other donor could have been chosen to talk about?

This is a top notch library. I’ve only been to one other public library that I thought was better and did more for the community. If you aren’t taking advantage of their services it’s a great tragedy. They have computers and private study rooms. A nice selection of books, media, and magazines to enjoy. The staff has been nothing nag but friendly and helpful. A nice lady helped me with my resume and I got a job shortly thereafter. Recommended!!!

We do! We accept nonfiction books with a copyright date within the last 5 years, fiction bestsellers from the last 2 years, historical materials pertaining to the history of Tillamook, children's books, and officially licensed copies of books on CD, DVDs, and music CDs. Only items in excellent or new condition will be considered for circulation, and any donations added to our catalog are determined by the Library's current needs and purposes. We do not accept old magazines (including National Geographic), Reader's Digest condensed books, textbooks, old encyclopedias, music cassette taps, VHS tapes, or any items in poor condition (from water damage, staining, mold or mildew, torn or missing pages, writing on the pages, etc...). We ask that donations be limited to one bag or box per week. Thank you so much for thinking of us!
It looks like the sale is postponed for Memorial Day but tentatively on for Labor Day, Sept. 3-5, 2021. https://www.northtillamooklibrary.org/events
You'll need either an ID or a library card to access computers. To print its 10 cents a page. Hope this helps.
Hi Michael! Yes, we do have a temporary card! Our temporary card is $20, and it is good for 90 days. You will have access to all library services, including e-resources. We look forward to seeing you!
As of March 2021, the bookstore is open! You can come in during Library Express for short visits. It may not be open all hours that the library is, it is volunteer run and not all volunteers have returned. Please call 503-842-4792 to see if the bookstore is open that day and the hours.
No, we are not. Our regular hours are Monday through Thursday 9-9, Friday and Saturday, 9-5:30pm, and then closed Sunday. We are also closed on several public holidays. You can sometimes reach the wi-fi from the parking lot even if we are closed! Hope that helps.
