Great labor and delivery staff but I wanted to give particular praise and acknowledgement to Lauren M. A labor and delivery nurse and Valerie the lactation consult. Valerie made the start of my breastfeeding journey so much easier with her knowledgeable advice and suggestions on how to properly latch! I'm extremely overjoyed to have have had the pleasure of meeting her! Lauren M. was an absolute pleasure and delight to have as a labor and delivery nurse. She went above and beyond in her nursing role and highly exceeded our expectations! She was so caring, attentive, kind, skillful, empathetic, knowledgeable and just the epitome of what a nurse should be like. She made our labor and delivery process so much more pleasant than we could have ever imagined! She even stayed after her shift was done to help deliver the baby!!! I couldn't thank her for her kind and thoughtful heart!

Best Hospital in the area in my opinion. These guys literally saved my life and the life of my baby. They knew exactly what to do. Professional, courteous, and compassionate. They walked me through everything step by step and reassured me when I was terrified. I can't even begin to say enough about their NICU and the staff. They treat your baby like their own and it really shows. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!

Emergency room and night time staff = excellent! Then when I was in a room on the first floor the next day was a completely different story. The doctors spent less than a minute with me and had no bedside manner. He was literally walking backwards out the door when I was asking him questions. Nurse assigned to me was surface nice but had no patience at all. I think she needs to find a different profession. I was sent home with no diagnosis and still not feeling well at all. Find out shortly before I was leaving but they never even tested me for Covid.

My husband is the patient but as his caregiver/advocate I would like to let you know we both thought his experience was excellent. He had no complaints, thinks everyone who took care of him was kind, considerate and professional. On my side of the situation, I think communication as I waited to hear news was excellent and I was well informed as to his whereabouts and contacted quickly on all steps to recovery room. For me, St. Joseph's and our doctors were a terrific experience. Thank you all for helping us get through a very trying time.

From 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. is visitations when you walk in you have to go through a screening process before entering the hospital
Yes they do . However they only have the close end kind not the open kind.
Yes, they do.
what kind of back treatment are you talking about physical therapy or surgery?
Yes and no. As I'm sure you will find out soon (unfortunately, sorry for your loss) Hospice is alot of times thought to be a place that a loved one lives during their last few days and It's much more then that. There is programs through hospice that can help the care taker with gas for doctors visits, help with money for travel expenses to treatment centers out of town or even state. Hospice can also last 2 days to 2 years, so the hospital doesn't cover it all but it will help you figure out the best care plan and the steps to make it easy as possible

Call the main operator and have them transfer you to the L&D unit or speak the the AOD (Administrator on duty). I doubt you will be able to see her, but it doesn't hurt to ask what the policy is. Good luck!
