I ended up getting COVID and developing long haulers along with pots and I may have also developed lupus. My short term disability with my provider was great but as soon as long term came around they said I was fully able to go back to work with no concessions, mind you I was a master tech flat rate automotive technician, which is pure insanity when my average day could be 10-14 hours long with no breaks and no lunches. Just to make 8 hours of work time. This also means just to make my money on slow days I would have to do 16 + cars of oil change, rotate tires, inspection, and top of fluids and air pressure in a day just to meet 8 hours of flat rate time. So as I stated they said I could do all that even though I had multiple doctors state that there was no way I could, so I got into contact with Nancy l cavey law firm and they asked no money up front got right to work and got my long term turned into a positive outcome with backpay. Overall this place has always treated me as person first not a number, kept in touch with me, always been understanding and helpful, and most of all just wanted to help me through with a both frustrating and disappointing time and turn it into a positive outcome.
