I am dealing with a death in the family and needed to get back to South Carolina from North Carolina right away, being upset I accidentally booked a ticket for the wrong date according to their website I can change my reservation date as long as it's up to 3 hours before the departure date, spent over an hour on the phone with customer service was given a redemption code to change my ticket with, it doesn't even work and the site wouldn't allow me to change my ticket date at all, called customer service back and the lady was no help at all I was told I'd have to purchase another ticket, I already paid $29.23 for the original ticket, they charged me two additional times for $37.23 and $34.23 in total I was charged $100.69 and customer service has been HORRIBLE!! This has been a nightmare, I will never use Mega Bus ever again, and I will be seeking legal action against this company as well for all the additional transactions that's been without permission. Safe yourself the trouble and book with Grey Hound!

I've been traveling Greyhound for several years and decided try Mega Bus. My second trip on Mega Bus was horrifying. The bus was about 2 hours into the trip and the bus broke down on a main interstate in the dark. Tracker Trailers were blowing by us and shaking the bus as it sat on a over pass bridge. The doors were locked and no one could get out. Several people were screaming and someone called the police. We somehow got to a gas station and was stranded there overnight. Worst experience on a bus. A family member drove 2 hours to come get me the next morning and never made it to my destination. I called to get a refund and they never did. Don't use them!!!

Always on time arriving and leaving, drivers always pleasant, buses always clean. No complaints for megabus just maybe a few of the passengers

I took a bus to DC from NC and back. The way there I had a decent seating on the front row of the top deck but was so hot I ended up sweating for more than half of the way there. Then on my way back, not only were we almost two hours late but the drivers switched in a hotel 4 miles from our destination and took their sweet time when we could have walked there in the time that they took.
