I don't recommend this place to rent if you have kids. theirs always someone dead once a month in this building..i uploaded a pic of the man that hit me when I was pregnant cause he still be around this building and there doing the same drama to others and gets away with it...

Notorious. This is a skid row flophouse. The system houses former inmates from the state mental Institute here. Your room key will unlock several rooms not just yours. Loitering. It smells of BO and urine. There are bedbugs and cockroaches. Predatory surroundings.

The rooms are quite small like an SRO (single room occupancy) they call a studio 🤓 Anyway, the halls leading to the rooms are narrow, the kitchenette is just a sink and cupboard. It does have its own restroom w/shower, no tub. It is filled with all kinds of people who walk to the beat of a different drum (if you get my drift) coming out of the elevator is pretty quiet until night falls. Security is tough so be calm cool and collective.

Depends on your income
Contact the leasing office or stop by and take a look
6 month waiting list
The parking downtown is incredibly frustrating... If you are handicapped, might be easier...
Legal, clean and ample place.
So what is your question??
Yes this is an apartment building so the minimum lease length is 1 year
If its a section 8 theyre supposed to . Landlords used to decline them . Earlier this year this rule changed now they are obligated. Alexandria unless it no longer is low income which means 75% if not higher would be having to move out and this is not happening. So id say yes as long as its not just a gr voucher for temp housing
I'm not sure, my friend is on a housing program. They are small and old. A lot of functions, weddings , movie filming ect.. Very famous building.
Yes and its pretty spacious as well
The ballrooms are on the 2nd floor. Other than the restaurants and bars on the exterior, this building is awful. People, mostly druggies, loiter outside of both entrances all day with boomboxes and chairs like the public sidewalks they obstruct are stoops in Brooklyn. They are nasty and confrontational and cause all manner of issues for surrounding neighbors and businesses. There was even an attempted murder stabbing this past Monday night. Yes, a Monday. Neighbors in much better buildings have to call LAPD and Historic Core BID (neighborhood "security ") multiple times every day because the security in the Alexandria is super lazy and best buddies with the degenerates that gather (we watch them fist bump the crowd as they come out for cig breaks, littering as they sway along to the thumping boomboxes that make the Historic windows across the street crack even beyond the first few floors). We've reached out to management there once and were ignored. Class action soon.
It is not a hotel actually. It is the name that is maintained from the first day.
I'm very sorry to hear of this. I can't begin to know what you're going through in the wake of this tragic loss. I wouldn't know from moment to moment what I was feeling. I imagine that's the state in which you find yourself. In contrast, hope for closure lies within the clarity brought about by the answers you seek. I hope to provide the context by which these answers present themselves clearly, enabling you to come to terms with your mother's passing. I hope to help you make peace with this. EDIT: after writing my reply, i discover the character limit, which i destroyed with my post. i'll log into a couple other accounts to finish.
Sorry I don't have their email but you can always go into their office early Morning and pay them a visit! Staff will be sure to help you out.
Just so you know this building is not a hotel. The name can easily throw somebody off.
