I’ve lived here a couple years now and am happy :) the property is well-maintained, it’s downtown and it has both units without bathrooms and units with bathrooms (the public bathrooms are maintained daily) and there is management only a phone call or email away at all times. If you have a car you will have to pay for parking offsite but the electricity is free.

Bad experience from the start. Called to inquire about their cheap apartments and I didnt even get a chance to ask about viewing the apartment before the lady asked about my credit score, and then she hung up. Yes it is super cheap to live here but it is in a bad area in DTLA. Took forever for someone to get ahold of, and then when I finally do the person is rude and hangs up before I even get to know anything about the apartment itself. Try to avoid if you can find a better apartment.

All the horrible things you've read about this place are true. I lived there for 4 years and to be honest, the first 2 weren't that bad. It wasn't until the my new neighbor moved in next to me that the later 2 years were just awful. The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything your neighbor are doing. When my neighbor moved in he would play music so loud that my belongings in my room would shake. I constantly complained to the manager and constantly knocked on his door to stop. The situation for 2 years was never resolved. The biggest problem was is that he would play his music till 3 in the morning and then start again right at 7. I could never get a full night sleep. I tried earplugs and blasting my fan on high to drown out the noise but he played his music just way too loud. I tried calling, emailing and even speaking to the manager about it several times. When I finally did get to speak to the manager he just said that I had to message the night guy in which I have messaged the night manager before and he responded "I'm asleep". If you have to absolutely live here then if they offer you rooms 345 or 347, DO NOT TAKE IT. My neighbor was in 346 and he never moved out as far as I know. I guess I should count myself lucky as it seems I'm one of the few that actually got my deposit back. It wasn't the full amount mind you but it was something. The bathrooms are shared and sometimes what the other tenants do to them will make you question if you live with children or not. The cleaning people never properly clean the bathrooms either. You'll be lucky if they even clean the toilets, I only ever saw them wipe the floor and that's pretty much it. I could've given this a better review but the managers there are completely incompetent. It makes me wonder why they have you signing the section of the lease that outlines the rules. THEY DON'T ENFORCE THEM. For your own mental state of mind, stay away from this place.

DO NOT rent through them or any of the other properties that they own. Never once did I have a single work order fixed during my stay there, there were a continuous supply of cockroaches, and now I am struggling to get my deposit back from them when I have been moved out for a month! They are never in their office, they don't answer any of my calls or emails and the man who was supposedly my landlord says he has nothing to do with the security deposit! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE!?!? He took it from me. Don't bother calling as their phone system just puts you on a constant loop that never sends you to an answering machine. Avoid at all costs.
